Hi, my name is Jemaydi Mateo and exercise has changed my life. As a former collegiate baseball player, I have enjoyed training and competing since childhood. Despite my love for baseball, I would have never guessed that the game would help me through anxiety, depression and overall health. I think sports and exercise is one of the best tools to build a stronger body and help support better mental health. Now I have dedicated my life to personal training and helping people achieve their best body and mind. My priority is to make sure you achieve your goals in a safe, effective manner. Then making our sessions as enjoyable and engaging as possible. I enjoy working with athletes but, I have had experiences in helping clients transition after physical therapy, pre/ postnatal and weight loss. It was my first time to train with trainer. I thought it is good to have a trainer to keep training without lazy cancellations! He customized each sessions for me depending on how much I am tired or enthusiastic, or hangover (he never had blamed me on this lol). Also he texts me to cheer up and advise about food often. Through 2 months ( 1-2 sessions per a week) training friendship likely, I lost 10 pounds and got slim shaped body. I went back to Japan for 3 weeks holiday, eating and sleeping almost everyday, it got me 5 pound back. However?!!)I again lost 5 pounds and got slimmed without training after coming back to NY! I found out that the training Jay customized me made my inner mustles very strong and lasting for long time. That is why I easily got slimmed. I do recommend him if you want to enjoy training with no pressures. I am sure that you will get healthy and strong body so soon!

I enjoyed my training sessions with Jemaydi. He pays close attention to proper form and always challenges me to push myself. He has also helped me become more confident with incorporating weights into my workout routine.
