About Michael

I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with more than 5 years of experience working in an orthopedic and exercise setting as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

My goal as a coach is to make strength training approachable, individualized, and something you can realistically stick with. Whether you’re new to the gym, looking to become stronger, build muscle, improve your overall fitness, or perform better in the sports and activities you enjoy, I’ll build your training around your goals, experience, schedule, and available equipment.

I have a particular interest in strength and performance training for recreational athletes, golfers, and adults who want to stay strong and active for the long term. I’m also happy working with beginners who may not know where to start or who want to become more confident with strength training.

My coaching emphasizes proper exercise technique, progressive strength training, movement quality, and measurable progress without making training unnecessarily complicated.

I offer both virtual and in-person coaching and enjoy working collaboratively with clients so they understand not only what they’re doing, but why they’re doing it.

If you’re looking for individualized, evidence-based training from a coach who will meet you at your current level and help you progress from there, I’d be happy to work with you.
