About Barbara
As a former competitive bodybuilder and certified personal trainer, I bring over a decade of experience training men and women of all ages, including seniors, women overcoming eating struggles, and clients working through body image concerns. I specialize in building functional strength, improving balance and mobility, and creating workouts that are both challenging and enjoyable. Whether we’re training in a park, your home, or a gym, I’ll meet you at your current fitness level and guide you step-by-step toward your goals. My clients say I’m equal parts coach and cheerleader — I’ll hold you accountable, celebrate your wins, and keep you motivated even on the tough days. Let’s create a fitness plan that fits your lifestyle, builds your confidence, and makes you look forward to moving again."
My favorite client story
One of my favorite client success stories is about a woman who came to me feeling nervous and unsure if she could stick with exercise. She hadn’t worked out in years and was carrying extra weight, but she was determined to make a change.
We started slowly with basic movements, focusing on building her confidence and celebrating small wins. Over time, she grew stronger and began to look forward to our sessions. Within a few months, she wasn’t just moving better—she had more energy, improved balance, and was smiling through her workouts.
The moment that really stood out was when she told me, ‘I can play with my grandkids now without getting tired.’ That reminder—that fitness is about living life to the fullest—is why I love what I do. Watching her transform not only physically but mentally was incredibly rewarding
My favorite exercise
My favorite is all of them as long as my posture is correct and my muscles are engaged.
My favorite quote
“Forget the workout—think of it as a fitness adventure.”
My training philosophy
My philosophy is simple: fitness should be fun. If it feels like a chore, it won’t last—so I create workouts that are engaging, energizing, and something my clients actually look forward to. Whether we’re using strength, balance, or cardio, I keep sessions fresh and enjoyable, while still pushing clients toward real results. Movement is meant to be celebrated, not dreaded
My training experience
Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of training clients of all ages and fitness levels—helping them move better, feel stronger, and gain confidence. My experience ranges from one-on-one training to leading fun, energizing group fitness classes. I pride myself on making workouts safe, effective, and enjoyable, while always tailoring programs to meet each client’s unique goals.
