About John

I have a long, successful track record of helping clients lose weight, get fit, build muscle, and get healthy. I attribute this to committing myself to my client's success by overseeing their diets and workout plans.


Here is a breakdown of what I have to offer you. I conduct my personal training sessions through Zoom. If you decide to train with me, we will schedule our first meeting. After that, I would send you a link to our Zoom area. The first session will allow me to assess your fitness level and your eating habits for your 7-day eating plan. You also get to experience and evaluate my coaching style. In terms of equipment, all you will need for most exercise plans is a set of resistance bands and/or a small set of dumbbells. My favorite client story

I worked out of a condo gym in San Diego, CA. For about two years, one of the residents kept promising to start working out with me. She always said she had a few things to take care of first. However, when she finally decided to commit, she became a loyal client for close to 20 years.

My favorite exercise

Walking is a great cardio exercise because it delivers the following. 1. Great cardio benefit 2. Requires no equipment 3. Can be social 4. Low injury risk (easy on joints 5. Can be scenic 6. I can do it with my dog 7. It doesn't feel like exercise.

My training experience

I have 25 years of experience as a personal trainer and a nutritionist. I spent most of those years training clients at San Diego gyms before COVID. After COVID, I began coaching clients online only. I may do both in the near future. In addition, I am presently a Thumbtack Top Pro with a 5-star rating, 128 hires, and 41 favorable reviews.
