I train out of my home gym located in Concord, NC. Only for significant medical conditions, in which an individual cannont work together on site, do I do house visits. If interested in home visits for rehabilitation, your radius must be within 15 miles of me. Additional travel distance fees may be applied.  Virtual training sessions are also available if located further, but are still interested in working together.

In my nine years of experience as a personal trainer, I noticed that many of my client's "weight loss issues" were not about eating or exercise, but rather altering their lifestyle, thought patterns and behaviors. As a health, fitness and wellness professional, it is my goal to 


 


1. Help you identify the problem


2. Address the problem with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge that I hold 


3. Teach you the necessary tools, skills and knowledge, so that you can sustain these new behavior implementations as well as identify future obstacles, while applying the appropriate skills to overcome trauma and challenges.


 


I hold a variety of fitness certifications, including my 200 hr RYT, BS in Kinesiology and a Master's in Clinical Exercise Physiology. I have taught hundreds of group fitness classes as well as had thousands of hours of experience working with clients. I specialize in working with women focusing on weight loss, strength training , injury rehabilitation and clinical populations. I have worked with clients who have suffered from  back, knee ,hip and shoulder injuries/ surgeries, sciatica, cancer, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, obesity, stroke, paralysis, neuropathy, cardiac related issues , hypothyroidism, diabetes and hypertension. I have experience training individuals pre/ post -natal, in addition to working with the older population 80+. 


 


I believe that when working with clients, I am taking the journey with them. I check in with clients regularly, helping to hold them accountable, while providing necessary support and encouragement.  Though the main purpose of training sessions is to exercise and teach clients exercise knowledge, it is also a time for clients to reflect upon their thoughts, habits and behavior patterns while overcoming exercise or nutrition related trauma. It is through training sessions and wellness realignment sessions that we discuss the trauma and challenges of life and how we can modify our mindset to overcome difficult times, behaviors or lifelong struggles. Taking part in the " exercise " behavior multiple times a week allows us to train the body mentally as it does physically. We all deserve to meet the greatest version of ourselves. Every client is capable of achieving their goal. The question lies within you though. How much of the old habits, mindsets and behaviors and traumatic experiences are you willing wit release in order to meet your greatest version?


 


At Chakra Seven Wellness, I integrate all concepts of health, wellness and spirituality to help bring forth the greatest version of yourself. Working as a personal trainer for the past nine years, it became evident that client's were not achieving their physical goals because of their inability to lose weight, but because of the mental, emotional and spiritual traumas and burdens that they carry.


 


 At Chakra Seven Wellness, I help clients to discover the root of their physical hindrance through movement, emotional clearing and behavior change. Diets and meal plans do not work long term. Changing one's mindset, processing, response and behaviors do. At Chakra Seven Wellness, clients are taught to honor themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, clearing toxic thought patterns and behaviors, while working through traumas and restoring strength and balance to the self.

It is scientifically proven and recommend that clients partake in 2-3 sessions weekly of physical movement in order to experience progress.
