
About Ashley
Ashley is an accredited trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as an American Council on Exercise Fitness Instructor. She has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut in Allied Health Sciences where she concentrated on .
Public Health and Psychology. Ashley was a former athlete in track and field, soccer, tennis, and college rugby.
Her coaching method focuses on helping people find peace with their bodies and find joy in movement and nutrition. Ashley experienced first hand the negative impact of diet culture and fitness misinformation. She witnessed many of her family members struggle with diabetes and other metabolic diseases. From these experiences, she found it important to educate herself on research backed methods to help others navigate the complexities of health and wellness. She focuses on helping clients find balance in their routines as they move towards a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
Currently, Ashley is a graduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing a Masters in Public Health Nutrition. In her coaching, she combines her knowledge in nutrition, fitness, and psychology to better support her clients. She believes workouts should be fun, safe, and sustainable. Her clients describe her as warm, uplifting, energetic, and determined. Ashley loves working with people who want to gain strength, those new to fitness, and seniors.
