About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel! But most people call me Rae. I have been an ACE certified Group Fitness Trainer since August 2022 and an ACE certified Personal Trainer since June 2023. I specialize in individuals brand new to fitness and aren't sure how they enjoy moving their bodies yet or maybe have some gym anxiety. However, I train all types, from total beginners to seasoned athletes. I will push you and challenge you. But most importantly, I'll help guide you to a sustainable lifestyle change that will allow you to enjoy moving your body.
My philosophy: Exercise is not a punishment for your body's existence. Exercise is a celebration of what your body is capable of.
Personally, I am a big nerd. When I'm not in the gym, I am at comic cons, planning out my next cosplay, reading or spending time with my dogs, Bruce Wayne and Ahsoka. As a former high school competitive athlete, I understand how strange it can be to transition from being highly active in your youth to perhaps less so in your adulthood. I was a middle-distance track runner and cross-country runner, but a foot injury and subsequent surgery later, I eventually found my home in fitness in lifting and boxing. I am currently learning to powerlift, because even coaches need coaches and I believe in being a lifelong student!
