About Yesenia
Hello everyone, my name is Yesenia and I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2018.
I became a Certified Personal Trainer because I am passionate about fitness. I have been a runner for nearly my entire life, ran HS Cross Country and Track. After graduating I continued on pursing local races and enjoyed the challenge of running. I ran my first marathon in 2012 and ever since then have enjoyed endurance running. Later on in my early 20s I discovered the gym! It was such a different type of challenge and instantly fell in love with it. I would help friends get into fitness, coworkers, family, too. I know through fitness you create a healthier mind and self overall. So many positive and benefits so that's why I love coaching others, I get to share that with them.
I am a mother, worked out during pregnancy, gained weight while pregnant and worked out postpartum. I understand the many struggles women can face during this beautiful change in their lives.
My training style is to always be encouraging and engaging. I am not the typical drill sergeant trainer you may have seen elsewhere. I will push you but in an encourgaging manner.
**Availability:
*Available for virtual training & in person.
**I am only available for in person sessions after 3pm on weekdays, with the exclusion of Mondays. I am available for in person on Mondays from 7am until 2:30pm!
Weekends: I am available in person in the morning and afternoon as well.

My training philosophy
The longer you wait to reach your goals, the longer it takes. Just get it done. It is so much easier saying, "No, not today, I don't feel like it." What results do you get from a "no?" None! Just start moving and get it done, you will thank yourself later. Small steps lead to the end goal.
My training experience
I received my certification through American Council on Exercise in 2018 and have been continuing my education on fitness and health continuously. I’ve trained people of all ages, high school aged, middle aged, I have trained people with zero fitness experience to people who worked out most their lives. I enjoy training people in all stages of life.

Love it. Glad I found this site! I don't have much time to go to the gym and I actually have a decent amount of equipment at home but didn't know how to use them in the right way. I found Yesenia on FYT and she has been great. We recently started and I am noticing I am getting stronger already. She works with me and my changing schedule and my ankle injury. Motives me to keep going and gives me helpful advice on meals etc. Totally worth it
