My name is Penny Boyd and I just recently became certified as a Personal Trainer through ACE. I passed my exam on August 24, 2018 and have not had the opportunity to closely work one-on-one with clients yet, but have been trying to figure out what kind of personal training I want to pursue, whether that is starting out privately or getting hired on at a gym. I am 21 years old am married and have wonderful little boy of 2 years. I graduated from East Linn Christian Academy in 2015 and was an avid athlete at Lebanon High school playing soccer on the varsity team as well as a high school golfer for East Linn on the varsity team. I have a lot of experience working with athletes especially in these two sports. I am currently also attending Oregon State University majoring in Kinesiology to acquire a degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. I have done a few shadowing sessions with a Personal Trainer at my local gym, of which I am a member, and have also written out some work out plans for a few friends, as well as trained with a couple friends one-on-one for more experience. I am anxious to start working with people and am very flexible with who and when I work. I am still new to the industry, but I am confident in my abilities and would love to start working with any client, whether they are young, old, high school athletes, or pregnant women. I am willing to work with clients schedules, and can make any time of personalized work out program fitting to each individuals needs. Whether you are young or old, just want to get out of the house and motivate yourself to exercise, or are training for competitions or sports events to new mothers and high schoolers, I am anxious to start working with you!
