I specialize in and work solely with female clients. Female clients have different needs than male clients do.
I started training clients after seeing how my workout posts on social media were inspiring and motivating others, and after several requests to train friends and family (and even a few acquaintances). I have a passion for helping women exercise in the comfort of their own homes (or outside) because I understand how convenient it is and I also understand the intimidation that a gym can cause many women. I personally have always trained at home, getting up to exercise daily at 5 am.
I have worked with brides-to-be, clients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, back problems (specifically spinal fusion), kidney disease & lupus, anxiety, moms (sometimes with their kids along) and senior clients.
I tailor each workout specifically to each client and include a lot of strength training exercises as well as HIIT (if they are at that fitness level) as well as lots of flexibility and mobility exercises. When the weather is nice I encourage my clients to train outside, either in their backyard or a local park. I like to mix up their routines to keep them engaged and enjoying their workouts.
My favorite exercise
Squats are one of my favorites because their are so many fun variations you can do with them. I incorporate a lot of yoga poses into my workouts like chair squats. I also love sumo squats, suitcase squats, squat jacks, single leg squats, squat jumps, walls squats & goblet squats.
My favorite quote
"Get comfortable with being uncomfortable."
My training philosophy
Consistency is key. You can't expect results in two weeks. I like to build healthy habits and fitness habits that will last a lifetime...not just a 90 day program. Slow and steady wins the race. I like to build a well-balanced training program for all my clients that includes: flexibility, mobility, strength and cardiovascular.
My training experience
I've been training for 4 years, but I've worked with a variety of clients including: brides-to-be, clients with RA, clients with spinal fusion, overweight clients, and senior clients. I've also done partner workouts, outdoor workouts, HIIT workouts, chair workouts, yoga-inspired workouts, and senior workouts. I love in-person sessions but have made the switch to all virtual sessions so I have time to reach more clients.

Carrie is awesome! She is also an amazing trainer. She didn't focus only on the exercise but also on the emotional side of things and all other aspects pertaining to making good health choices in order to attain my desired weight. Through her expertise, I was able to understand my progression better, and also understand that it won't happen exactly the same with everyone. I have had the opportunity to work with Carrie for the last 2 years. We meet three times per week. She tailors the work out to my physical ability and needs to reach my goals. She listens to me. She is honest in her advice. She is extremely experienced. She is expert in the field and can accommodate any challenge or limitation. She is skilled at targeting muscle groups with a variety of techniques and is great at modifying moves when needed to keep the work out on target. I enjoy my time with her and always look forward to our next meeting. She paces me, pushes me, and helps me grow. For ALL of these reasons I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get healthy and or in shape. She is worth the investment. I promise you will not be disappointed.
