Ellen Bari is a certified Master Fitness Trainer. Her focus is working with women and men age 50+ who want to get in shape, lose weight and/or improve their overall health and wellness. Ellen Bari works with all fitness intensities from low impact to high impact. Depending on your needs, a custom training program will be created exclusively for you to achieve your goals.
A Little Background
Fitness was always important to Ellen, and she ran track in high school. Years later, in her thirties, she was injured playing tennis. She tore the cartilage in her knee and required surgery and physical therapy to recover. Then again, in her forties, she injured her rotator cuff and required intensive physical therapy with exercise training.
Because of these two injuries, Ellen became certified in many different types of fitness training and nutrition to help people safely get in shape and stay in shape. She understands the importance of promoting safe, low-impact exercises to help regain and maintain optimal fitness.
Ellen’s passion is to work to help people who have past injuries and impairments reach their fitness goals safely. She understands and supports clients who fear restarting their fitness journey after injury. Her education and expertise help her to promote modified, low-impact exercises so that clients reach their health goals without the risk of re-injury.
My favorite client story
I started a fitness program for a 57-year-old female. She was obese and needed to reduce her weight by 90 pounds. She was on blood pressure medicine, and due to her deplorable eating habits, her cholesterol was high, her glucose was high. Her doctor recommended band surgery for weight loss, and that's when she contacted me. We began fitness training 3x a week. It was tough at first, and she resisted, but I stayed the course, continued to encourage her, and after two months, she had lost 25 pounds and was growing strong. I truly love making a difference in someone's life and helping them to become healthy and learn to enjoy exercise for life.

Ellen is AMAZING! Over the course of my journey i have worked with several trainers, all of whom were very good. Ellen is several notches above " very good" and i am so glad i found her!
