About Rachael

My training focuses on resistance training with the use of free weights, resistance bands, machines, and bodyweight exercises. I also focus on cardio training with the use of HIIT and cardio circuits. I have had experience training a wide variety of clientele ranging from sedentary to highly active individuals. I am currently a personal trianer with online/in-person clients and I am a group fitness instructor at a studio called AKT in Gilbert!


All of my clients have access to my personal training app where all of your workouts are saved and your progress is tracked. The app integrates the My Fitness Pal nutrition tracking app and with Apple Watch/Fitbit to track daily activity and workouts! Notifications keep me up to date on your activity so you always have accountability on your fitness journey!


With my work and educational experience and over 10 years of dance training, I am always inspired by the amazing capabilities of the human body and have a strong desire to help my clients reach their true potential. I’m a firm believer that regardless of circumstances, the human body is meant to move and continuously be challenged to grow and build new strengths.


My education began at Chandler-Gilbert Community College where I completed the dance program and received my Associate's in Fine Arts- Dance, and I am currently continuing my dance experience with two dance companies in the Phoenix area. I decided to pursue an education in exercise science, so I joined Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s exercise program to gain hands-on experience from highly experienced fitness professors. After completing the courses, I earned my Associates in Exercise Science as well as the American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer Certification. A few months after graduating, I completed a course through Fit for Birth to earn my certification as a pre and postnatal exercise specialist! As a mom of two boys, I have both educational and personal experience for helping new moms return to an exercise routine and build up strength safely after baby!

My training philosophy

Anyone can exercise regardless of circumstances. You're never too far gone and it's never too late to start an exercise program and make healthy lifestyle changes. The starting point might feel slow and painful but it's progress! The more you keep moving the easier it gets, so whatever you do just don't stop moving!
