About Galen

Hi! I'm Galen and I am a certified trainer in the Raleigh Durham area. I have been training for about 7 years. I have worked with a variety of different clients from young to old, beginner to expert, couch potato to athlete, and everywhere in between. Current and past clients would describe a typical session with me as "appropriately challenging", meaning I will push you to challenge yourself without overdoing it and risking injury.

I have a degree in Exercise Science, as well as my NASM certified Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, and Performance Exercise certifications. I have worked with able bodied, injury rehab and injury prevention clients. I am able to tailor a workout to meet your capabilities no matter what specific complications we might run into.

Health and fitness has been something that always has held a special place in my heart ever since my dad had a heart attack when I was younger. Having the first hand experience of why fitness and overall health are important to longevity is the primary reason why I got into training. Seeing what happened to my dad due to poor health is my driving force to help others improve their individual health and reach milestones they never thought were possible.
