About Luke

Hello! My name is Luke Dixon. I have been working as an ACE certified personal trainer for a year and half.  My training style is to incoporate a variety of calisthenics(body weight exercises), dumbell, barbell training, and resistance band training to provide high quality one hour workouts to a variety of fitness levels. I work with a variety of people who are trying to get into working out for the first time, looking to get back into working out after some time, looking to improve their strength or conditioning, and also those trying to reach a weight loss goal and work on general fitness. I would like to help you with your fitness goals whatever they may be!

About myself and athletic background: I grew up in East County, San Diego.  At a young age developed a love for living an active lifestyle and exercising through playing sports: soccer, basketball, and surfing. I have somewhat of a running background as I competed in the 4x400meter relay, 800 meter, and 1 mile races in track and field and Cross Country at St. Augustine High School in San Diego. I also competed for one year in cross country and track and field at the University of Dallas in the same events.


My favorite exercise

The burpee is my favorite exercise because it works your whole body and you can get a great workout in a short amount of time.

My training experience

I have 1.5 years of experience personal training with clients. helping clients lose and maintain their weight, improve their strength and conditioning, and feel more positive about their exercise experience.
