About Renato

Hi there! My name is Renato Boucher. I am certified personal trainer based in the Bay Area. My training background comes from my admiration of sports and embracing an active lifestyle, which led to getting my certified personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports and Medicine (NASM) in 2021. My mission is to help people who are either brand new or experienced in a fitness setting to achieve their personal goals through a supporting and encouraging manner.

My favorite client story

One of my favorite client success stories is working with a client who had a very busy schedule. We started training 1 to 2 times a week. When we first started, he had limited experience with strength training and was dealing with a few minor injuries. Over the course of nearly a year and a half, I helped him build confidence in the gym by improving his exercise technique, movement quality, and overall strength while working within his limitations. What stood out most was his commitment to learning—he regularly asked thoughtful questions about exercises, training principles, and how to continue improving, which showed he was truly invested in his progress. Seeing his dedication pay off was incredibly rewarding, and the trust we built eventually led him to have me train some members of his family as well. That’s the kind of long-term relationship and positive impact I strive to create with every client.

My favorite exercise

My favorite exercises has to be either deadlifts or any form of cardio (ladder drills)

My favorite quote

“Love me for who I am, never love me for what I make“

My training philosophy

I believe fitness should be sustainable, not overwhelming. My coaching focuses on mastering movement, building strength through progressive training, and creating healthy habits beyond the gym floor. Every client is different, so I tailor each program to fit their individual goals, experience, and lifestyle. Success comes from consistency, patience, and trusting the process—not quick fixes.

My training experience

My passion for fitness began through years of playing soccer and other sports during my youth and adolescence. Combined with my experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and Lead Physical Therapy Aide, I help clients build strength, improve movement, and achieve lasting results through personalized training.
