About Trever

Hey, my name is Trever and I am San Francisco Personal Trainer. I currently train out of two gyms, World Gym SF, and Fitness Urbano. I am a NASM CPT Certified Personal Trainer, NASM PES Performance Enhancement Specialist, and an Eleiko Certified Stength and Conditioning Level 1 Coach. My background comes from years and years of highly competitive wrestling and rockclimbing. After high school I went to college always chasing degrees that paid really well but never was interested in, until finally I decided to stop chasing money and chase my passion. That’s when I decided to become a personal trainer and I’m so glad that I did. My job is so rewarding getting to help people change their lives.

I feel like I've been really lucky finding a great trainer on my first shot. I've been working out with Trever for about 6 months, and I'm still shocked at how I look compared to just a few months ago. I've been lifting weights most of my adult life, and I've never been able to get the results like I've achieved since I started training with Trever. I lost about 35lbs in the first 2 months, then immediately started to build up muscle and gain solid weight in all the right places. Still, I continue to see pretty amazing results every week. So far, I can honestly say that it's been one of the greatest investments I've made in myself. What I originally planned for a 2 month program, has been extended infidelity due to the results I got within the first month alone. I cannot recommend Trever enough, it's definitely worth the time and investment.

He's in tune to your goals and abilities and adapts his techniques accordingly, which is why he works with a wide variety of clients. His workouts are challenging and creative. He never stops pushing you to do better, but he also understands physical limitations. He's professional, which means he always shows up, he's always on time, and he always communicates clearly and accurately. He also has a great personality, so although you won't succeed in distracting him from starting your next set, it's a pleasure to try. I cannot recommend him more enthusiastically.

I cannot tell you enough how fortunate and grateful I am that I found Trever. He is an amazing personal trainer. I am a physique competitor and I was looking to step up my physique a notch so I looked up Trever. I have learned so much from him as far as technique, form, muscle target, and isolation during our focused workouts. He pushes me and I would not push myself if it weren't for him. He is mindful of limitations and injuries so he never pushes that boundary. He always has an agenda at the start of our session and his intention is to move through the agenda during our hour. The session goes so fast I am never bored. I am amazed at the results I've seen in my physique since training with him. I highly recommend Trever as your certified personal trainer. I have trained for nearly 25 years, the last 3 years consecutively following 5 years of inactivity. I have had several during that time, and Trever is the one who helped me achieve my goals best. I have gotten to know him well the past 16 months, as client for 6 months and fellow gymgoer who regularly spotted and recorded him during workouts the remainder. He has a broad athletic/fitness skillset in strength and bodyweight training, sports performance (like wrestling), and recreational activities (especially rock climbing). He combines such skills with passion for fitness (his and yours) and creativity. He learns your capabilities and limitations and adapts accordingly. He has an outgoing personality who puts you at ease during these sessions. He offered clear explanations through words and demonstrations. As someone who is middle-aged, no matter how often I failed, he kept encouraging me and offered alternative explanations. For example, in my calisthenics training, he provided many progressions and assistance aides (bands and platforms) until I completed the skills. In training for the deadlift, which is his forte, he observed my technique and offered practical, sustainable tips for improvement. As my preference, our sessions were fun, challenging, and jam-packed all the while time flying by even during one 2-hour session. His mantra is simply this: Push yourself to be better than yesterday. He practices what he preaches. My sessions with him and observations of him during workouts and via social media posts have done just that. If you explain to him your goals and are willing to put in the time and effort, you may reach levels of fitness beyond your imagination.

I've been working out for a few years (on and off) on my own but never took it seriously until I started training with Trever. For me, I'm slim, always have been, trying to put on muscle and build strength has been hard on my own. I've been training with Trever for about 3 months now and I'm stronger, more confident, and excited to work out! Trever has pushed me beyond what I thought I could achieve.
