About Heather
Hello everyone! My name is Heather, and my passion is helping you achieve your health and wellness goals. I believe the relationship between coach and client is a special one. During our initial consultation, we’ll focus on understanding what has and hasn’t worked for you in the past, what you enjoy about working out, and what you don’t. This helps us determine if I’m the right trainer for you.
In our first session, I’ll assess your current fitness level and use that information to create a workout plan that is not only safe and effective but also enjoyable. I firmly believe that the key to achieving results is consistency, and a workout that you enjoy is one you’re more likely to stick with.
My passion for health and wellness was ignited over 20 years ago after reading Body for Life by Bill Phillips. This passion guided me through a corporate career until I realized that my true calling was in fitness. Four years ago, I made a career change, lost 40 pounds (and kept them off), and rediscovered my love for life. I understand the challenges of staying in shape and bring a unique ability to be present with my clients, guiding them authentically toward their goals.
I hold a BA in Psychology from JFKU, am a certified personal trainer through NASM (CPT), and earned my health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

My philosophy is simple: make working out enjoyable so that it becomes a part of your lifestyle, not a chore. Consistency is the foundation of success, and when exercise is fun, you're more likely to stay committed and achieve lasting results.

I believe that training is not just about physical fitness; it's about creating lasting, lifelong health habits. I strive to evolve with my clients, making each session a special and transformative experience. I feel incredibly grateful to play a role in improving the lives of others and am committed to supporting them every step of the way.
