About Jason
Hey guys! My name is Jason and I'm here to help you identify and achieve your fitness goals for a healthier and happier life! I was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State, GO GREEN!! Health and wellness have always been a major part of my life but my career began in operations for Nestle so I have made my way around the country (California, Wisconsion, Ohio, and now NYC).
I played soccer my entire life but also love the outdoors which started with Boy Scouts at a very young age. Although it has been some time since earned my Eagle Scout award, I still try to get out and go hiking or camping as often as possible and love staying active. Since relocating to NYC in 2014, I have found myself at the gym more often than most.
My personal training experience began with my roommate in Wisconsin, Shout out to Blanco who lost 40 pounds training with me on a regular basis. From that point on, I knew the gym was my happy place. Since then I've worked with friends and family members but made it official at the beginning of 2017 when I started working for Equinox as a personal traininer. I spent 2 years training at Equinox in Manhattan before jumping back into corporate America but still train on the side.
In 2021, I relocated with my wife out to the Bay Area and mainly focus on my own health and fitness but still would love to work with clients if able to fit into my day. Not that I'm a father and have my regular 9-5, my schedule can be a little packed but would love to meet and help train anyone looking for some help and motivation in the gym.
My apartment has an amazing, fully equiped gym with free weights over 100lbs and 2 squat racks, plus cardio equipment and plenty of space. Come check it out!
My favorite client story
My very first client was my roommate in Wisconsin who was a great cook and enjoyed his partying. Because we were friends first, he was a little skeptical of my approach but after 6 months of hard training and a disciplined diet, he was able to drop 50 lbs! Proud of the hard work Blanco!
