As an acclaimed wrestler poised for a successful career as an athlete, I was devastated when the prospect of living my dream came to a screeching halt after a severe injury to my spine. My life was forever changed. This left me unable to compete and sent me into a spiral of depression and chronic pain. My experience as an athlete and my journey through a life of chronic pain has fueled my passion for wellness. It is my highest mission to help people overcome whatever challenges that may be keeping them from reaching their full potential and becoming the best version of themselves. 

I not only had to overcome the physical pain but also the mental pain. Because of this, I am a mental health advocate and base a great deal of my programming and wellness protocols around supporting stable mental health. I have been a mental health speaker and educator for over a decade and believe we need more advocacy to overcome the mental health crisis we presently face in our world. 

I'm here to help people achieve the highest quality of life possible and the greatest amount of fulfillment and life satisfaction through exercise and related wellness activities. 

I have trained countless strength training systems and styles and have explored many modalities and rationales. I'm deeply passionate about movement and believe the more we move, the better we'll live. I have practical solutions for everyone and have helped a wide range of populations and personalities. We can train online, at my gym, at your home, or in nature! I perform a series of assessments and create a custom plan and approach that suits your needs.

My favorite client story

Annie was 220Lbs+ over weight and had worked with trainers before. She didn't believe anyone could help. I asked her if this was a limiting belief we can work through; she said yes and agreed to also train her mindset and mental fitness. We trained on and off for a year with a total loss of 30 Lbs - my response was "I can't help you if we don't train consistently together. That's the honest truth." In the 2nd year, Annie decided to level up and go all in training three times a week with me and twice a week on her own with check in calls in intervals of 6 week programs for a total of 8 programs (48 weeks/almost 1 year). Annie was able to shed a whopping 80lbs in the 2nd year. The moral of the story is commitment and consistency. Mindset and a sustainable plan is how we accomplish our goals. Annie is still on her journey with occasional support from me. She is committed to the lifestyle and not just the results - this is what makes the difference.
