About Jacq
Hey there! My name is Jacq and I’m a personal trainer, online powerlifting coach, and competitive powerlifter.
I started my fitness journey in 2015 and powerlifting journey in 2020. My passion is to help others accomplish their health and fitness goals through strength training. As a queer person of color, my goal is to empower the LGBTQIA community through strength training, in a safe and inclusive gym environment.
Whether your goals are to break through PR’s in the gym, move without pain, perform better in your sport, or prepare for a powerlifting meet or simply to improve your health & well-being, let me help!
My approach focuses on strengthening the whole body while improving mobility through selecting the most optimal exercises & intensity to target your unique movement capabilities. Attention to technique is my priority as I believe that it’s the foundation to making sustainable progress in the gym while minimizing risks of injury.
Besides personal training, I also offer customized programming and online coaching!
