VerifiedAbout Eric
I am a military Vet who pushes people to be better. After serving in the Army for 8 years I had issues with my weight. I gained over 30 pounds, felt and looked over weight. Not being confident in my ability to help myself I went to school for personal training at Heritage college. After that I realized that was an job I enjoyed and could do for the rest of my life. So my personal philosophy is, "train hard to live easy, but have fun doing it." I believe if you can't have fun training you won't train no matter how motivated you are. A normal session involves a client spending an hour training with me. First we start with some light movements get the body going and blood circulating through your muscles. Then we do exercises based on your goals and needs. I general like strength exercises involving functional training or boxing for weight loss. After doing our workout for the day we stretch to reduce muscle soreness and tightness. I also give you a homework assignment to do at home so we can meet your goals. This is how a typical session goes for my clients.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is clapping push ups.
My favorite quote
"Be like water," Bruce Lee
My training philosophy
Listen to your body, if the exercise hurts then we probably need to modify it or change it. Your body knows.
My training experience
I've trained in martial arts from a little kid. I also served in the US Army for 8 years. After leaving the army I gained a lot of weight and went to school for personal training. After my college shut down as it went bankrupt I decided to get my certification done through Ace for Personal training and passed. I did personal training and kickboxing for A Family Affair Boxing. Having moved back to South Carolina from Colorado I'm here to train and make changes in people's life again.
