Before my first session, I rode my bike for 15 min to warm up and did my chiropractic stretches. Then Kim FaceTimed me with a good workout. I had overhead fan on but still used a towel for sweat & often drank from water bottle. We both adjusted to FaceTime & figured ways to improve. Kim provided motivation & accountability while social distancing. I will be 77 in April & never felt better.
With the pandemic, I decided switch to a virtual personal trainer. Thru this website Kim Miller became my virtual personal trainer, emphasizing stretch & strength, incorporating Stick Mobility, for 1hr 2x/wk. It has been transformative. I was a very tight male. Kim has greatly expanded my range of motion. I am a cyclist. During the pandemic I ride with Zwift on my Wahoo Kickr Bike. Cycling tightens my already very tight hamstrings. Kim has stretched my hamstrings a great deal. I can now sit on the floor with my torso at 90* without propping my back up. For those with very tight hamstrings, you know this is a big deal. Every Kim exercise has alternatives. If I cannot properly do one version, Kim offers another version I can do within my then range of motion. The stretching has an important strength component. I expect to increase my range of motion and strength much more. Kim also emphasizes balance, and has improved my balance greatly, and will continue to improve it. As a senior, it is wonderful to go beyond stabilizing the present and be able to make significant gains. All of this chases other health gremlins away. Kim is best personal instructor I have had.
Wonderful Ongoing Experience. Been doing virtual one-on-one with Kim since the Pandemic began. Kim uses Stick Mobility and a number of other traditional pieces of equipment. Main object is stretch and balance. Strength comes with doing these exercises. I am 78yrs old. Kim asks me health questions. For example, when I told Kim I was scheduled for a CT scan of my right ear, she really looked for an effect on my balance. I have become much more flexible and my balance has improved. I feel “safer” in doing everything else I do, as a result of Kim’s exercises. Kim customizes that days exercises for my needs. If I do not do well with exercise A, Kim always offers up exercise B so I get to my full range of motion in correct form. I try to put myself in the same form that Kim demonstrates, but Kim can see and correct any flaw because she is always narrating what I am doing. Wonderful ongoing experience.
