About Kyle
[Listen to 9Nation Podcast episode “Meet Coach Kyle” to hear him tell the whole story!]
Kyle is a 2020 transplant, skipping from Connecticut to the Sunshine City in search of beaches and an active, vibrant community.
Watch him train and you’ll see a strong AF athlete. But Kyle’s got an inspirational transformation story of his own: He kicked off his fitness career losing over 90 lbs!
Backstory first. Let’s hear how you got into fitness, Coach.
“After high school my weight shot up to 285 lbs. I battled with with yoyo dieting for 3 years, then decided to get a proper education in fitness. After applying what I learned on myself, I developed a strong passion for helping others, and keeping them from repeating the same mistakes I made.”
So as a coach, what’s your jam?
“I’m passionate about helping new folks start their weight loss journey and building healthy habits for long term success. And barbells… Let’s lift heavy stuff!?
On top of Kyle’s extensive knowledge and experience in the fitness industry, he’s also known for bringing ALL the positive energy to his clients. Attend one of his classes, and you can expect lots of rap and hip hop throwbacks, along with the infamous “Big Bootie Mixes”.
To catch Kyle outside the gym, you’re likely going to need to go to the beach. But this sun-lover also likes to kick back in the AC with some gaming to reconnect with friends back at home.
And of course, it’s practically required for Team CF9 coaches to have a great dog:
“I have a 12 year old pit/lab mix named Apollo that I love more than anything. He’s has been by my side through all of life’s ups and downs with countless moves all over the country.”
