About Caitlin

Are you unsure where to begin in reaching your fitness goals? Have you felt awkward and uncertain when attending a big-name gym like LA Fitness or Gold's Gym? Have you bounced around in different diets, with minimal results or gaining more weight afterwards? Do you struggle with motivation, accountability, consistency and finding joy in exercise? I have been in your shoes! As a trainer, I am dedicated to teaching women how to hit their fitness goals through progressive exercise and balanced nutrition so you can feel energized, stronger and confident for years to come!


About Me: I started as an overweight, unathletic teen who was not taught how to exercise or what "good" nutrition was. It wasn't until 2015 when I finally realized I would not make progress in the gym on my own. I hired a trainer who gradually helped me understand how to maintain a regular exercise routine, make better food choices, and got me to lose 30lbs - what a confidence boost! This motvated me to want to help others in the same way my trainer helped me.


My favorite client story

I have a male client in his mid-30s who is very dedicated to his IT job and developing his own crypto-based video game. Over the course of time he's worked with me, we have steadily developed and improved his exercise, nutrition and sleep habits. Whereas in the beginning he wasn't exercising much outside of our sessions, he walks to the gym and follows his assigned program using home equipment. He has been much more mindful about meal portions and snacking. And while his video game project will keep him up late, he has expressed improved mental clarity, focus and energy when he gets 6-8 hours of sleep, which is a great improvement from the 2-3 hours he used to get just a few months ago.

I'm really happy to see this client progress! He is close to getting under 300lbs and continues to work hard on his fitness journey!

My favorite exercise

Squats are my favorite exercise because there are many varieties that can target all sections of your thighs and glutes, and it can be modified for any skill level or physical ability.

My training philosophy

I'm all about gradual progression. There may be days where we push your limits a little, but not beyond what is impossible for you. Good form is important to avoid injury, I won't let you do an exercise with bad form. I'm a big advocate of stretching and recovery to avoid future discomfort and muscle stiffness.

My training experience

I have been training for 2 years in a large chain gym where I service a variety of clients, primarily those who are looking to lose body fat. I have also been a parkour coach for 2 years and have spent time in Boston developing my group management and lesson planning skills for kids and adult classes.
Prior to becoming a trainer, my own personal trainer was a bodybuilder, so I spent a lot of time in social circles with professional competitors and focused much of my training on body aesthetics.

I aim to bring my certification knowledge, parkour experience and personal fitness journey together to be a quality coach to my clients. Someone who understands their struggles, progress and can help motivate them through their own journey.
