About Caitlin
Before I became a trainer I struggled with understanding how to exercise or have balanced nutrition. It took hiring my own personal trainer to reach my goals and build lasting healthy habits. Now, several years later, I want to teach others how they can reach their goals and build fitness habits. I provide individual fitness programs that include resistance training and cardio routines based on the client's goals, equipment availability, and physical ability. Together, we progress through movements to build your strength, balance, and endurance. If needed, clients also receive a personalized nutrition guide to help adjust current eating habits for their goals. I love working with beginners to help them go from "zero to fit" in my 1:1 sessions.
My favorite exercise
I really enjoy squats. There are many variations that can be learned and modified for all stages of fitness.
My training philosophy
I'm all about gradual progression. There may be days where we push your limits a little, but not beyond what is impossible for you. Good form is important to avoid injury, I won't let you do an exercise with bad form. I'm a big advocate of stretching and recovery to avoid future discomfort and muscle stiffness.
My training experience
I have been training for 2 years in a large chain gym and 2 years as an outdoor parkour coach. I spent the first 6 years of my own fitness journey among bodybuilders and trainers with 15+ years of experience, and aim to bring together all my current and growing knowledge to my clients today.
