About Robert

Hello! I have spent the last 6 years serving clients and my community as a certified personal trainer and sport performance enhancement coach. After spending 20 years as a public school educator and coach; I developed a new desire, passion, and need to help as many people as possible with their health and fitness goals. It was at that moment that I decided to take a leap of faith to pursue a career as a personal trainer. I have assisted clients of various ages, as well as athletes of different sports, with reaching their goals. Those goals have ranged from a change in body composition, weight loss, weight gain, strength gains, nutrition assistance, daily healthy habits, and improved overall health. I have spent the last few years attaining several certifications and specializations that have better prepared me to serve and assist my clients. I am a strong believer in building working relationships with my clients. My goal is to equip them with the knowledge, ability, motivation, and encouragement they need to be successful. Ultimately, I want to empower them so that they can accomplish their goals and change their lives.

My favorite client story

My favorite client story is about Nancy. At the time, she was a fellow educator and friend. She knew me as a coach that kept in shape, and as someone that was an active Beachbody coach. Nancy was my very first client. She asked me to get her started on a program, and to hold her accountable to workout and to follow a nutrition plan. When she started, I gave her a quote, that she printed and put on mirror for a daily reminder of her goals. That quote ended up helping me to make a decision on the name of my LLC. Long story short, Nancy went from wearing a size 14 to a size 6. She was once unhappy, unhealthy, stressed out, eating a lot of fast food, and weak. She completely changed her life and lifestyle. Nancy has not looked back. Her journey started over 10 years ago. She has moved away, but we still check in with one another from time to time. It was Nancy that encouraged me to pursue personal training. She convinced me to start a Bootcamp for other teacher on our staff, and that eventually led to me deciding to walk away from a 20 year career in eduction to become a full time personal trainer.

My favorite exercise

Well, it used to be squats until my knees said NO MORE. Now, I would have to say that my favorite exercise bench press.

My favorite quote

Your desire to change has to be greater than your desire to stay the same.

My training philosophy

Do NOT complain about the results that you are not getting, from the work that you are NOT putting in.

My training experience

I have been a personal trainer for 6 years. I have worked with clients that range in age from teens to the elderly. When it comes to a client’s current level of fitness, I do an excellent job of meeting everyone where they are and building from there. I also take the time to develop an effective working relationship with each client. I am looking to use my vast knowledge, passion for training, and dedication for helping others; to make a real difference and assist every client with reaching their personal health and fitness goals.
