VerifiedAbout Hayden
Health and exercise, to me, is a continuous learning process that we are fortunate enough to do every day as it allows us the ability to continuously improve ourselves both mentally and physically. I am a lifetime student of the human body and also learning how it can be transferred over to use in our everyday lives. I started with physicality and exercise from an early age, primarily in the world of sports, playing football, wrestling, track and carrying over to competing in powerlifting at a national level, where I hold 5 Utah state records and have won 2 state championships. I've quickly been consumed by various forms of exercise and nutrition along with various forms of martial arts, studying in Hung Gar, Brazilian Jujitsu, Boxing and Muay Thai, but my passion has always stayed with weightlifting. Curiosity about my own potential opened me up to various styles of training and nutrition, which I find is a staple for longevity in health. Not only do you have to take action, but also be willing to continuously learn how to improve the action as it is an evolving learning process in life. Previously, my interests in competing focused me on “how can I get better?” and were quickly replaced by “how can I get others better?” using strength and conditioning, nutrition, and exercise psychology as the toolbox of transformation.
