I started my coaching career in 2000, one year after the opening of Xcel Fitness. Specializing in Strength and Conditioning at the Collegiate level carried over nicely to the programming and training of youth and adult athletes. With an undergraduate degree in pre-physical therapy/athletic training it gave me a working knowledge of special populations: rehabilitation and prevention of injuries, developmentally disabled individuals and older adults.
I have done extensive continuing education, CHEK, NSCA, NASM and many others over the past 20 years. I have enjoyed working with all different levels of individuals looking to improve performance and vitality. When I am not training my clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife Whitney and two children, Ruby and William.
