I live the lifestyle I preach. I feel for fitness and nutrition after battling and recovering from anorexia while at university. I realized how important my health was to my quality of life and overall happiness only after I had lost it. As a coach, I can help you be healthy and as fit as you want to be to live the quality of life that you deserve.


My clients become a part of my life. Because I do a lot of work remotely, I find that I can be a part of their lives as well. Training for me is not simply about writing up a training program and seeing someone a couple of times a week. I want to help you change your life - and I'll do what it takes to make that happen.

I'm my absolute happiness when helping people eat healthier, get active and improve their lives and self esteem.

My favorite client story

One of my favorites is when a client of mine, whom I'd been working with for a number of months, sent me a message that she "could only complete 2 sets of push ups instead of the allotted 3". I was so happy to text her back, reminding her that just a couple of months ago she could barely complete 2 push ups at all!

My favorite exercise

I love strength training. For years I was a cardio queen but it wasn't until I went back to working on getting stronger and building muscle that I really saw personal changes - mentally and physically. I grew up a gymnast, and to this day I love to push myself to be stronger and more athletic.

My training experience

I've been a certified personal trainer since 2015 but a fitness enthusiast since I was a child. Before I was certified, I loved writing plans for friends and family. In 2015 I worked at a boutique women's fitness studio, leading small groups through nightly training. In 2016, I moved to Hawaii where I built my business, Julia Hale Fitness, to train 1-on-1 and remotely. Since then, I've trained women 1-on-1 and remotely from Hawaii to Massachusetts, and I've taught group classes at my local gym.
