About David
Hello, I got interested in personal training and fitness after going to the gym with a friend of mine back in college. I really liked how training made me feel. I felt strong, healthy and confident. The training really helped me become successful in other areas of life. I love sharing my knowledge with my clients and watching them make improvements and how that impacts their life. I have a B S degree in exercise science. I am certified as a Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. I am certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the Internation Sports Science Association. I also am certified as a Postural Alignment Specialist through Egoscue University. I work with clients of all ages and fitness levels. My level of training allows me to work with special populations such as: Orthopedic issues and other health concerns.
My favorite client story
My client Maria started off not able to complete a squat or a pushup. She now is able to do several without stopping. Her confidence has gone up exponentially and she recently got a nice promotion at work.
My favorite exercise
The walkout. Go into a squat position and then place your hands on the floor and walk your hands foward until your body is in a plank. Do a pushup and walk the hands back to the starting position.
My favorite quote
Its so easy that its hard.
My training philosophy
Consistency and effort equal results. Provide an environment where success is likely to occur.
My training experience
I have 15 years experience working with people of all ages and abilities. I especially enjoy helping people get out of pain and improve their lives.
