About William

My training aims to prepare you to feel and perform at your best. I believe that as we age, we will only be able to do what we train for. I serve people across the age span, from 10-year-olds to those in their tenth decade of life. My oldest client recently celebrated her 96th birthday. I have clients I have trained for an extended period of time, but many train short-term to either get started or move to the next level of fitness.

I offer science-based education, training, coaching, and resources to help clients achieve their optimal health, fitness, and body/brain performance. Training sessions can take place in your home, outdoors, or virtual via live video.

My programs are individually designed and include long-term access to a wealth of printed and video resources.

My favorite client story

My favorite stories are about clients who have overcome barriers and exceeded their own expectations.
One example is JR who lost 50 pounds and eliminated every symptom of his type 2 diabetes.
A second is EF who had not walked for 14 months, but through progressive training was able to walk again.
A third is an 89 year-old client who reaffirmed her life purpose and reversed her decline in strength and stamina recovering the ability to do all in of the things she loved to do.
A fourth is DW, beginning at age 19, who grew in the confidence and physical/mental ability to succeed in school and excel athletic competition in college.

My favorite exercise

My favorite exercises are those that equip a person to perform in a sport or activity that requires a combination of skilled movements such as balance, coordination, agility, speed, and quickness.

My favorite quote

You will only be able to do what you train for. So if you want to leap tall buildings in a single bound, start jumping!

Another is one coined by my 96 year-old client, BF: "It is sad when your body dies before you do."

My training philosophy

As an athlete trains for his/her sport, so all of us can "train for life" - to be at our best in all that we love to do and are called to do.

My training experience

My experience includes serving a wide range of children and adults via body/brain training and health coaching for disease prevention and reversal and personal training for fitness and performance. I offer interactive health and performance seminars in corporate, church, educational settings. I have designed fitness centers and comprehensive programs for retirement communities and corporations, provided body/brain health consultation for organizations and a hospital, and designed and led a nationally-based health coaching program. I have designed and led in-residence programs for comprehensive wellness and fitness (not only addressed physical health but also addressed each major area of life).
