My favorite client story
My favorite client story features one of my longest-standing clients, Scott. Prior to joining my program, Scott had never truly been challenged physically. Together, we set a remarkable goal aimed at strengthening his resolve: he decided to summit Mount Kailash in the Himalayas—a daunting 21,000-foot ascent with temperatures plunging below 20 degrees.
With my guidance and his newfound determination, Scott dedicated himself to the rigorous training necessary for this challenge. He successfully reached the summit of that formidable mountain, an achievement he describes as one of the defining moments of his adult life. This journey not only transformed his physical capabilities but also instilled a profound sense of accomplishment and resilience.
My favorite exercise
It sounds strange, but I do breathing exercises for 5-10 minutes under 150-200lbs sandbags. My spine and ribcage feel incredible afterwords.

My training philosophy
Nothing positively adapts without resistance. Strong winds make strong trees. Resistance is the stress that makes us strong. If we can learn to find calm in that stress we grow mentally and physically to our fullest potential.
