About Shani

I’m passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals through personalized training and support. In a typical session, I focus on creating a welcoming environment where clients feel motivated and challenged. We work together to establish clear goals, whether that’s building strength, increasing endurance, or simply feeling more confident in their bodies.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients, from beginners just starting their fitness journey to seasoned athletes looking to fine-tune their performance. I particularly enjoy working with those who are ready to embrace a lifestyle change and are committed to their progress. My background in exercise science and years of hands-on experience have equipped me to tailor workouts that are effective and enjoyable.

I became a trainer because I believe in the transformative power of fitness—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Seeing clients reach their milestones and develop a newfound appreciation for their capabilities is incredibly rewarding. I’m here to guide you every step of the way, celebrating your victories and helping you navigate challenges. Let’s embark on this journey together!

My favorite client story

One of my favorite client stories involves a woman named Sarah, who came to me feeling overwhelmed and discouraged after a long break from fitness. She initially set modest goals, focusing on building her strength and confidence. During our sessions, I noticed how hard she worked, and her determination was truly inspiring.

After a few months of consistent training, Sarah not only achieved her initial goals but exceeded them. She progressed from struggling with basic exercises to completing challenging workouts with ease. The real turning point came when she signed up for a local 5K. I’ll never forget the day she crossed the finish line—her joy was infectious, and she beamed with pride.

Seeing Sarah transform from hesitant to empowered was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced my belief in the power of persistence and the impact of a supportive training relationship. Moments like these remind me why I love being a trainer, and I’m grateful to be part of my clients’ journeys.

My favorite quote

Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from an indomitable will.

My training philosophy

My training philosophy centers around the idea that fitness should be effective and fulfilling. I believe in taking into account not just physical goals, but also mental and emotional well-being. Each client is unique, so I prioritize personalized programs that cater to individual needs, preferences, and lifestyles.

I emphasize the importance of building a strong foundation of movement patterns and technique, which enhances performance and minimizes the risk of injury. I encourage a growth mindset, celebrating progress and recognizing the power of failure as a valuable learning opportunity. Every setback can lead to greater resilience and understanding, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel motivated to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones.

Ultimately, my goal is to instill a sense of confidence and autonomy in my clients, helping them develop sustainable habits that extend beyond our sessions. I want them to leave feeling stronger, both physically and mentally, ready to take on whatever challenges come their way.

My training experience

Since 2018, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from young athletes to older adults. This experience has enriched my understanding of different fitness needs and how to tailor programs effectively for each individual. I’ve also participated in various running races, including half marathons, which has given me firsthand insight into endurance training and race preparation.

In addition to my training experience, I’ve taken numerous classes in power yoga, allowing me to incorporate elements of flexibility and mindfulness into my workouts. I’m also certified in nutrition, which enables me to provide clients with comprehensive guidance on their health and wellness journeys.

My goal is to empower clients to achieve their fitness aspirations, no matter their starting point, and to support them every step of the way.
