About Carla
Carla Baccio is Certified Personal Trainer by the American Council of Exercise with a master's degree in Exercise Science, Nutrition and Wellness. Holds several certifications in different exercise methodologies, such as TRX group and personal training, PiYo (Pilates and Yoga Fusion) and P90X. Carla is certified in IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique) and Corrective Exercise specialization by NASM (National Academy of Sports and Medicine).
In the US it is estimated that 1 of every 3 adults suffer from some type of musculoskeletal pain, Carla's goal is to help her clients correct improper movement patterns so everyone can enjoy the benefits of exercise and get the best possible results. Carla obtained her first PT certification by AFPA (American Fitness Professionals and Associates) in 2009 and has been helping people achieve their fitness potential ever since. A mom of two teenagers, she knows raising a healthy family and taking care of one self is not an easy task. She want to help her clients with small but powerful doable steps that can completely transform their life. For Carla, simple is better, and consistency is more important than intensity

I can’t say enough great things about Carla. She is AMAZING!! If you’re lucky enough to make it onto her schedule, you will NEVER want to stop working out with her. When I started working with Carla, I was in my late 30s, 20 pounds overweight, had a lot of random body pain, and was generally just a very sedentary woman. I wanted to get fit and be a more active person, but I didn’t know how to get there on my own. I knew it was only going to get harder the older I got, but I also knew I needed a (positive) motivator and someone who really knows how the body works. Carla has been all that and so much more! Working out with Carla has helped me achieve so many of the health and fitness goals I’ve struggled with over the years. I’ve gotten stronger, leaner, and more confident in my body just by doing reasonable, enjoyable amounts of exercise several times a week. I've lost 25 pounds and I don’t even know how many inches (she keeps track though!). Let’s just say I've dropped FOUR dress sizes. It’s not just about the weight loss, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t love fitting into my clothes better. ;) I’m just so much more confident and healthy-feeling. And, honestly, all I have to do is keep showing up. Also, I was having a lot of chronic pain when we started, which was something I was worried would keep me from being able to really workout. But Carla is so knowledgeable and is always able to help me modify as we go, so that I can stay active no matter what is going on with my body. Now I can say that my pain is significantly reduced. It’s not totally gone, but that’s because I have some health issues. But I (and my doctors) can pretty much guarantee the pain would be worse if I hadn’t finally gotten more active. And I couldn’t have done it without Carla. She knew just how to get me started so that it wasn’t too much too fast. Yet still I was able to start seeing instant results in my energy and strength. I really feel so much more connected to my body through working with her. One of the best parts of working out with Carla is that she always keeps it fresh - it’s never the same boring workout. She always has something new up her sleeve and a big smile on her face. She’s an absolute bright spot in my day and a funny, smart, thoughtful person to boot. All I can say is that if you get a chance to work with Carla, DO NOT pass it up! (Oh, and my husband works out with her, too, and she totally got him strong and lean. He has literally said, “I never want to stop working out with her!”. So this review is for you guys out there, too!)
Carla is the most amazing and successful trainer I have ever worked with. She not only assists with my goal setting and my training at the highest level, she has also become a mentor, therapist and friend. She genuinely cares about her clients and does everything she can to help them reach their goals. Carla will create a custom plan for you and make adjustments as time and situations change. I can’t speak more highly about her ability to keep you on track with the necessary guidance and gentle persuasion. As a result, I am happy to say I have lost 70 lbs and counting!! Carla is awesome and I enthusiastically recommend you get in touch with her so she can help you as she has done for me.
Very Conscientious. Carla has been great! I have some challenging health issues which have weakened my body significantly. Carla was very thorough in understanding all of my issued and is adapting my training plan with all of those issues in mind.
Carla will change your life and she will do it with so much grace and kindness, that you won't even feel like you are putting lots of effort into this change. I NEVER worked out in my entire life, and I'm 56! I don't count those occasional yoga classes with a bunch of girlfriends that usually end up with a glass of Prosecco somewhere near the studio. So, I never had any plan, consistency, discipline. Carla changed that for me. I was afraid I would be cancelling our sessions left and right - instead, I'm looking forward to each and every one of them. She is incredibly thoughtful and would take an extra care making sure that you don't injure your spine, or your knees, or whatever else is your vulnerable body part. She is super positive, but demanding in a very soft kind of way. She is also very experienced and knowledgeable, after all, you're trusting your entire body to your trainer - so, experience should matter! Her entire approach to wellness is very wholistic, and that is an added bonus. We frequently chat about other bio-hacks like supplements, diet and health-related activities and procedures. Overall, I count my blessings that my very first trainer turned out to be so amazing!!! I think I'm becoming pretty hooked on staying fit and the credit for that goes to Carla 100%!
