Hi, we are NASM certified personal trainers specializing in women's fitness in the Sacramento and Bay Area. We help women who are looking to prioritize their health, fitness and nutrition, get stronger, increase mobility and lose some excess fat. We also offer virtual training for women who are not in their training area or need a little bit of flexibility.
Karlynn is a trainer and the owner of KAOS Performance fitness. She has over 7 years of fitness training experience specializing in women's fitness in the last 3 years. She helps women who are looking to prioritize their health, fitness and nutrition, get stronger, increase mobility and lose some excess fat. Karlynn is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist and specializes in Women's Fitness and Nutrition, Pre/Postnatal fitness and nutrition and Performance fitness and nutrition.
Karlynn turned to fitness after she had her third baby. In the beginning as a mom, she put my health second to my family and career. She thought there wasn't enough time for her, and that she had to wait until things settled to focus on her. But things never settled and she began to dislike what she saw in the mirror. As a former volleyball player, she remembers how having exercise as part of her day improved not only her physical health but her mental health as well. So she began a workout program with a goal of losing 50lbs. By making her health, fitness and nutrition a priority, everything else in her life improved too.
Karlynn loves seeing her clients grow and gain confidence. When they break through their mental barriers, it literally give her chills. She also enjoys connecting with people and having fun with exercise. It's not just about fitness its about creating relationships and positively impacting her clients lives through fitness.
The other trainer part of the KAOS Performance Fitness team is Jocelynn Only.
She has been a personal trainer since 2019 and can communicate in English, American Sign Language and Spanish.
She loves to participate in trail running events and exercise on a daily basis to improve my physical endurance and stay prepared to work on commercial and film projects. Jocelynn has completed distances on trails ranging from 5K to 21K. Her love for fitness and getting outdoors was featured in a campaign collaboration with REI Co-Op and Shape magazine called “Discover Your Best Self”.
Karlynn and Jocelynn personalize their fitness programs to fit each client. Each woman is different and has different needs, strengths and weaknesses. They push each client outside of their comfort zones so that they can reach their full potential.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the Squat, Curl Press. It uses the whole body and if done correctly will increase your heart rate as well.
My training philosophy
I start with the basics making sure all of my clients have good mobility and range of motion. Workouts are then progress with combination exercises and power moves to mimic some of our everyday movement. The best workout to me is one that uses your whole body or multiple muscles in one exercise. When we move on a daily basis we move in multiple directions and we move multiple muscles, our workouts shouldn't be different.
