About Jack

I'm very hands on and safety oriented. I have an in depth understanding of somatics and deep muscular strength training. I am NASM certified and primarily weight train. Nutrition is my biggest focus. I am currently AFPA certified for Sports Nutrition and have done a lot of independent studying on Nutrition as it pertains to different kinds of athletes from low to high activity levels. I am also a corrective exercise specialist, which involves the use of pilates, physical therapy, and flexibility training inorder to rehabilitate, prevent injuries and treat neuromuscular and postural disfunction.

I am also a circus artist attending the Actor’s Gymnasium and through circus arts I’ve developped an even stronger corrective exercise base that includes shoulder and spine stability exercises.

Strength is the basis for body composition goals and performance.

My favorite client story

My client Scott Stinton came in after training for two months and told me that he took a blood test before training and another one yesterday. The first blood chemistry test showed unhealthy levels of everything. The one he had the day before telling me this surprised the doctor because suddenly his blood chemistry came out as completely healthy.

My favorite exercise

Handstands because it trains deep core muscles as well as stimulating proprioceptive responses. By putting your weight into your hands you are increasing the ability of your upper body to function similarly to your lower body and creates better coordination between upper and lower.

My training philosophy

Strength is the basis for body composition goals and performance.
