About Jen

Welcome to my personal fitness training page! My name is Jen Nalbantyan, and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer located in Chicago, IL. My passion for fitness ignited some 25 years ago when I first stepped into the Gold’s Gym in Duluth, Georgia. What began as an escape during my awkward high school years has blossomed into a lifelong dedication to strength training and overall wellness.

I employ a range of training modalities, integrating high-intensity circuit workouts, traditional resistance training, plyometrics, and elements of powerlifting. This diverse approach ensures that you not only achieve strength gains but also enjoy long-term progress and effective weight management.

I recognize the unique challenges that women, queer, and non-binary individuals often face in traditional gym environments, as well as the misconceptions surrounding weightlifting. My mission is to make strength training welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of body type, age, or gender. I also have a naturally analytical mind and always approach things with a desire to learn patterns and act quickly and creatively on my feet to make changes when needed, and therefore improve outcomes.
