We’ve all been told the best way to lose weight is to follow a restrictive diet and high intensity workout program. The truth is that for people over 40, it’s just not true.

It’s totally normal to think that following these types of programs will work for everyone. Many of my clients have believed that low calorie diets and high intensity workouts are the answer to helping them lose weight and ultimately feel better about their bodies. In fact three years ago I would regularly wake up in the middle of the night and fall into a shame storm because I “fell off the wagon” with my strict diet that I just couldn’t seem to stick to. The piece of the puzzle that was missing for me was realizing that the emotional side of my health and weight loss journey was keeping me from actually reaching my goals.  ?

Fast forward to today and I’ve created a sure fire method for busting through the negative thoughts and energy leaks that can make it impossible for you to reach your goal. It’s not the “slip ups” in your weight loss plan that are holding you back, it’s your thoughts and emotions that have left you with a frazzled nervous system. As you start to repair your nervous system, you’ll find a new sense of peace and calm. When we’re calm, we can tap into our intuition. Our intuition knows what is best for us, we just need to open our hearts and listen.?
