My favorite client story

Recently I began working with a client who had scoliosis. At first I was slightly daunted when I saw the various divots and valleys that defined her uniquely shaped spine. I doubted myself and my skills momentarily but I chose to look at this new situation as a chance to grow and mature as a professional. I read extensively about scoliosis and as we worked together her spine slowly and consistently began to straighten. It gave me great pleasure to see her visible joy as her noticeable hip-drop began to slowly level. Her awareness of her body began to grow and she often tells me of how she feels her posture has improved. She sleeps better, no longer gets migraines and her overall outlook on training has gone from negative to positive. We still work together and which each session she grows and moves with strength. It gives me such pleasure to work with her because she has allowed me the opportunity to grow as a professional.

My training experience

I formally began my training career in 2013 working at a Boutique Madison Avenue gym up until 2016 when my wife and I branched out and pursued our own practice. Prior to 2013 I informally trained several of my friends, educating them on correct movement. Movement has and always will be my passion. in 2016 I started working as an independent trainer for a boxing gym called WTF to pursue my interest in martial arts. This diversified me as a trainer and taught me a new skill. I have several different certifications and pride myself on my diverse repertoire of skills. Recently I completed my qualification in Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching and Ohashi Shiatsu Massage. Although 4 years of formal experience may not seem extensive my knowledge is that of a Master Trainer. In 2019 I started training rowing online for CityRowGo coaching 6000 members across 20 different countries. in 2020 I became part of the DailyBurn365 team coaching live on 5 cameras to an audience of 55,000+ members with 10million active users across the entire app. In 2022 I became the Master Trainer for Floyd Mayweather's Boxing and Fitness Franchise opening 11 studios across America.

I had the absolute pleasure of training with Alex for several years in NYC, and I can't say enough positive things about the experience. Alex's training sessions were incredibly diverse, covering a wide range of fitness aspects, from boxing to yoga, movement, and nutrition. Alex's boxing sessions were intense and engaging. They helped me build strength, agility, and confidence in a fun and challenging way. The combination of technique and conditioning drills made each session a fantastic workout. Yoga with Alex was a complete contrast, providing a serene and mindful break from the intensity of boxing. His expertise in guiding me through yoga poses and breathing techniques helped me improve my flexibility and inner balance. Movement training with Alex was a revelation. His focus on functional movement and mobility not only enhanced my overall fitness but also helped me in my day-to-day activities. I felt more agile and pain-free after each session. Alex's nutrition advice was equally invaluable. He personalized a nutrition plan that complemented my fitness goals and gave me the knowledge and tools to make healthier food choices. Overall, training with Alex was a holistic experience that covered all aspects of fitness and well-being. His passion, expertise, and dedication to his clients were truly exceptional, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals in a diverse and enjoyable way. Thank you, Alex!

Alex is a highly sophisticated and passionate trainer. He looks at every aspect of exercise, not just burning calories or getting a quick pumped. He understands the human body and looks to bring it to its fullest potential. He’s also a very good teacher and loves to share his knowledge about the body with you in order for you to also have a deeper understanding and love every moment of it.

I've had the pleasure of training with Alex throughout 2023 and I can say nothing but positive things about him and the approach The Movement Project takes. His instincts for how the body works, how to diagnose and determine a bespoke program are like nothing Ive seen before. And best of all he does it all with a huge smile on his face and an infectious energy that has impacted me beyond my physical health. Do yourself a favor and partner with Alex, you won't regret it.

Had a few training sessions whilst on holiday in Miami with Alex. A great variety of weights, boxing, breathing, posture, and movement which when coupled with a professional, knowledgeable, caring yet no-nonsense approach with a focus on quality rather than quantity made for a great training and learning experience which is rare these days. I highly recommend others to make use of Alex's services for those seeking a new and different training experience

I've been a fitness enthusiast for years, but nothing compares to the transformation I've experienced since working with Alex Diana. His Active Stretch sessions are nothing short of miraculous. Alex's approach is truly unique; his deep understanding of physiology and movement sets him apart. The Active Stretch sessions are not just about flexibility; they are a holistic journey towards a better, more aligned body. With his guidance, I've not only increased my flexibility and range of motion but also improved my posture and alleviated chronic tension. What's most impressive is Alex listens intently to your concerns and tailors each session accordingly. His passion for helping his clients achieve their goals is evident in every stretch, exercise, and piece of advice he provides. Moreover, his positive energy is infectious. Even on days when I felt unmotivated, Alex's enthusiasm and encouragement kept me going. He doesn't just train your body; he motivates your mind too. Thank you, Alex, for your expertise, dedication, and the incredible impact you've had on my fitness journey

I had the honor of being trained by Alex for a boxing coaching role, as well as personal one-on-ones through Zoom. Despite the location or the distance he sees every detail and has the ability to see you for the human and athlete that really you are. His boxing, strength & conditioning, and rehabilitation knowledge is extremely extensive and vast. Alex will get down to the nitty gritty and can command a room, but he is the most personable and emotionally intelligent coach I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He embodies his lessons and can breakdown techniques or scenarios to any level. He is a confident yet humble, and extremely educated trainer. Through his coaching I believe it prepared me to be a better coach and through his guidance he helped me work through a nagging injury - post corrective surgery. From breathing work and rehabilitative stretching to combat sports and proper technical conditioning - Alex is an extremely experienced and caring coach. It was a pleasure to work with him and get to know him while he worked to make me a healthier and happier person.
