About Benjamin

Hi I'm Benjamin, commonly referred by "Benji." I've always been a care taker and want to help people not just physically but how they feel internally. I realized early on that medical school wasn't for me, so I started my own personal training business which allows me the freedom to accompany my clients schedule and flexibility. Establishing personal relationships that will last for a lifetime is what drives me and fuels my passion for the health and fitness industry. Being able to see my client's results and transformation is the cherry on top.

I work with a wide range of clients from different fitness backgrounds. My specialty is Senior Citizens with an emphasis on injury prevention and corrective exercises such as static and dynamic movements.

I offer individualized personal training at home or area of your choice. I offer bundles of sessions you can choose from for in home, couples and virtual training. In addition, I offer advanced stretching as well as nutrition coaching & customized meal plans. Ultimately, it depends on what your goals and needs and how often we meet.

"My family and friends are astounded to my transformation in just a short time. Before I started training with Benji, I had deteriorated into a couch potato, finding myself in the worst condition of my life. I had trouble standing and walking, even with a cane. I had no stamina. At 90 years of age, I was resigned to a life in a chair. I use an electric scooter to get around. I kept seeing Benji's truck parked outside the Stella workout room. I wondered, was it possible to improve my situation if Benji would train me? So I talked to him, and he readily took me on. Today, just weeks later, I pop out of my chair, feel great, and I truly feel like a new man. I have plenty of stamina and strength. I look forward to each workout, as they continue building strength, muscle, and stamina. Thank you Benji!!"

My favorite exercise

I like to say that life is just a series of squats. You squat to get on and off of the toilet and up and down from the couch. Squats are the most functional exercise I can think of. Plus, they’re infinitely modifiable. One of my favorite variations, especially for runners, is the single-leg squat because it builds strength in the glutes and quads while increasing lower body and core stability.

My training experience

I have studied Kinesiology with the intention of becoming a Chiropractor. After over a year of medical school I realized that I wanted to work with a full range of clients and decided to become a personal trainer.

With a degree in Kinesiology and Health, I worked as an independent trainer out at a privately owned fitness facility called The Flex. For the last 2 years, I've worked in a commercial facility primarily with injury rehabilitation and holistic medicine.

With my programs, I focus on achieving absolute health for my clients through personalized nutrition, and a strength and conditioning program individually tailored to their needs. They range from long term weight loss to rehabilitation for injury, building muscle to athletic performance.
