About Tony
Hi, I’m Tony Campbell, a dedicated personal trainer and health professional with years of experience helping individuals achieve their fitness goals. As the owner of TCI Fitness, I specialize in crafting personalized training programs tailored to your unique needs, whether you're just starting out, working towards a specific milestone, or striving to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My approach is all about building strength, improving endurance, and fostering a positive relationship with movement.
With a background as an Opioid Overdose Epidemiologist and Biostatistician, I bring a unique understanding of how health, wellness, and physical fitness intersect with overall well-being. I believe fitness is not just about aesthetics—it's about longevity, functionality, and living your best life.
In a typical session, you can expect a mix of challenging yet achievable exercises designed to improve your strength, mobility, and confidence. Whether you’re an athlete, a busy professional, or someone looking to take control of your health, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients and understand how to meet you where you are in your fitness journey.
Fitness transformed my life, and I’m passionate about helping others experience the same empowerment. Let’s work together to set goals, smash them, and celebrate every victory!
My favorite client story
One of my favorite client stories is about a woman who came to me intending to regain her strength and confidence after recovering from a serious injury. She had been hesitant to start working out again because of fear of reinjury, but she was determined to reclaim her independence and fitness.
We started slow, focusing on rebuilding her foundational strength and mobility. Each session was a step forward, and I made sure to celebrate her progress along the way, whether it was a new personal best or simply her feeling stronger day-to-day. Over time, her confidence grew, and she started pushing herself beyond what she initially thought was possible.
The moment that stands out most was when she performed her first unassisted squat in years. Her joy and sense of accomplishment were contagious, and it reminded me why I do what I do. Seeing her not only regain her strength but also her belief in herself was incredibly rewarding.
This experience reinforced my belief that fitness is about so much more than physical transformation—it's about helping people rebuild their confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve a better quality of life.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the deadlift. It’s the ultimate full-body movement that builds strength, power, and resilience. I love it because it’s not just about lifting weights—it’s about mastering form, engaging multiple muscle groups, and developing mental focus. Deadlifts are incredibly versatile, benefiting everyone from athletes looking to improve performance to beginners working on foundational strength.
What makes the deadlift so rewarding is how functional it is. It translates directly to everyday activities, like lifting heavy objects or improving posture. Plus, something is empowering about seeing your progress in real-time as the weights go up. It’s a movement that challenges you both physically and mentally, and I love helping my clients unlock their potential with it.
My favorite quote
“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment.” – Jim Rohn
This quote resonates with me because it highlights the importance of consistency and effort in achieving success. Whether it’s in fitness, health, or life in general, discipline is what transforms dreams into reality. It’s a reminder that small, intentional actions every day can lead to big, life-changing results.
My training philosophy
My training philosophy is centered around sustainability, individuality, and empowerment. I believe that fitness should be a lifelong journey, not a short-term fix, so I focus on creating programs that fit seamlessly into your life while delivering long-lasting results.
Every client is unique, which is why I prioritize understanding your goals, lifestyle, and abilities to design a plan that works for you. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or new to fitness, I meet you where you are and guide you step by step toward your goals.
Most importantly, I aim to empower my clients. Training isn’t just about physical changes—it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset. I want you to leave every session feeling stronger, more capable, and inspired to keep pushing forward.
Fitness is a tool to enhance your quality of life, and I’m here to help you unlock your full potential—one session at a time.
My training experience
I have years of experience helping clients of all fitness levels achieve their goals, from weight loss and strength building to improved mobility and athletic performance. As the owner of TCI Fitness and a certified personal trainer, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including beginners taking their first steps into fitness, busy professionals juggling health with a hectic schedule, and seasoned athletes looking to refine their skills.
My expertise also extends beyond the gym, as my background in public health and epidemiology gives me a deeper understanding of how fitness impacts overall well-being. I use this knowledge to develop programs that not only help clients look and feel great but also improve their long-term health and functionality.
Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in tailoring workouts to meet individual needs, focusing on proper form, injury prevention, and building a strong foundation. Training Areas Served
I have lost 60 pounds and JC was a big part of that. One of the first things I noticed is that JC spoke to me and not at me, as other trainers had before. Not only is JC knowledgeable about exercise and body mechanics, he also empowered me and gave me the confidence to exercise , which has always been a challenge for me…and he made it fun. JC was instrumental in helping me achieve a healthy weight, core strength and the confidence to maintain.
When it comes to working out, I don't consider myself I self starter. I was looking for someone knowledgeable and that would push me to work hard with my body while feeling confortable working out even though I knew I was so out of shape. Tony has met all my expectations. Tony takes the time to explain each set of workouts and always take into account my injuries or concerns. He is very caring but still pushes you to finish your workouts. I'm looking forward to continue achieving my goals with Tony
I had weight loss surgery and was told to add resistance training. Tony was responsive and has pushed my to my limits, but does not debilitate me with muscle pains. He does well at making a custom program for me... determined my abilities, and pushes my limits. On those days where I'm still sore 3 days out, he has work around my schedule and has been VERY accommodating. I STRONGLY recommend him!
I have had five session total including my two free that included my assessment. I look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays to go in and get in a great work out. Tony is very knowledgeable and helpful in all areas. He pushes you and seems to truly care about results, not pay checks. I would highly recommend Tony to any and everyone looking for a personal trainer.
Tony is a great personal trainer. He challenges you to achieve your fitness goals by pushing you to succeed while still having patience for your process. He is educational and supportive. Since working with him I have become more aware of my eating habits while losing a couple pounds.
Working with Tony has been a great process in getting on track to meet my personal goals - he knows how to identify areas for growth and pushes me to worker harder than I'd been going in my home workouts before. I was getting mixed results from researching and trying things on my own, but now Tony has been able to explain everything from the movements, muscles, nutrition, breathing and make it all make sense in a way that feels good and like I'm working hard. Glad to have found his services and would definitely recommend.
