About Maggie
I have a Masters in Sports Psychology and my CPT with NASM, specializing in strength training, pre/post natal fitness, sports performance training and weight loss. Fusing mental performance and fitness together has allowed me to reach athletes and clients on both a mental and physical level. I love building relationships and getting to know my clients to see how we can achieve performance goals together. I recently moved back to Chicago after living in LA and having a personal training business out there for 3 years. I am excited to be back and a part of the Chicago community again!
My favorite client story
One of my clients recently got married and lost 20lbs for her wedding, getting to her goal weight. It was a huge milestone for her and such a reward for me as a trainer. She is an example of how dedication and consistency can get you to your goals!
My favorite exercise
Deadlifts! However, I love any exercise that is challenging and pushes me.
My training philosophy
What's your why? Why are you here, why do you want to invest in your fitness, why are you working out with me? The answers should be for you and you only. If you are committed to your "why," you can achieve your goals.
My training experience
My fitness career began at Chicago Athletic Clubs where I was a Specialist Personal Trainer there for other 3 years. I was trainer of the year in 2018 and 2019. During the pandemic, I re-loacted to Los Angeles where I had my own training and performance coaching business. I am a NASM CPT, certified Female Fitness Specialist with a pre/post natal certification, and a Performance Enhancement Specialist. I train clients with all different fitness goals and needs, both male and female. My clients range in age from teens to into their 80s. I also have a Masters in Sports and Performance Psychology.

Maggie was great! She worked on everything. She was very professional and sweet. I’m glad she was my trainer.
In addition to being a wonderful human being Maggie takes the time to understand your goals and helps you achieve them. I have been working with Maggie for a year now - she understands my limitations and finds creative ways to make me sweat. While I miss our in-person training sessions, training with Maggie has me laughing though sets of squats, push-ups and everything in between. Maggie is always on time, flexible with scheduling and very responsive. If I could give her a million starts out of 5 I would!
Maggie is an amazing trainer and person. I've been lucky to work with her for around a year and a half now and I've reached my weight loss goals and feel great. If you're hesitating over whether or not to hire a trainer hire her ASAP. She will develop a personalized plan for your body and she will make you feel good about yourself. I think in the beginning hiring a trainer can be kind of intimidating but Maggie is so kind and fun she makes you feel like you've just been chatting with a friend during your session--then all of a sudden you've finished. Don't get me wrong she can be super tough especially if you ask her for that but either way she will make your session pleasant. Also Maggie isn't just a trainer, she's a teacher. I've learned so much about weightlifting and circuit training that when I don't see Maggie I can continue doing similar routines on my own or even make things up on my own. So really what you're investing in is not just a short term thing--it's a long term understanding of health and fitness. She will also help you with your eating goals too. She's the best.
I have been working with Maggie for close to a year now. In the time I've worked with her, I not only met all my goals - but have blown past them with her training plans and her encouragement. She has helped me stay accountable for my fitness not only in the gym but outside as well. Her fun and encouraging personality has been a big part of why I look forward to coming in to work out. She is an extremely fun person to be around and has made my fitness journey an enjoyable one. I have never felt stronger and healthier and I attribute that all to Maggie. She is a rockstar and has my highest recommendation!
She is a true professional, very knowledgeable, and her positive attitude was just a pleasure to interact with. We went over my current condition and my real "hardcore no bullshit" goals (pardon my language) and the paths required to possibly make a visible difference. We left the meeting with a mutual understanding I will be making a few tweaks in my diet to see if they generate visible results and reconnect in a month or so and at that point analyze results and possibly evaluate what can or cannot be done - with the age/metabolism factor being the main focus.
My experience with Maggie has been amazing! Not only has she helped me achieve my goals physically but she also has helped me mentally and emotionally. I think many times trying to find a trainer is like trying to find a therapist, it can be really challenging and sometimes you have to go through a lot of people to find the perfect one. I have found the perfect match when it comes to Maggie! From day one Maggie has been committed to me and my goals. She is easy to talk to and makes me feel confident and relaxed. I was really worried about being at a really low level when it came to fitness, but she made me feel like I can achieve anything I put my mind to. She has helped me reach new levels that I didn't think were possible! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer! No matter where you are physically she can help you.
