Robert Habib
About Robert
I’ve been successfully practicing as a personal trainer for 7 years. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2014 with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I worked there for 2 years at Bayside Physical Therapy, an outpatient clinic in Millersville, MD. This experience laid the foundation for my training beliefs and philosophies. I earned my personal training certification and moved on to Repke Fitness in Millersville, MD. While here, I gained experience working with clients from many backgrounds, with different exercise limitations or difficulties, back pain, shoulder, knee, or hip pain, clients living with multiple sclerosis or sciatica pain, and clients diagnosed with hypertension, just to name a few. In 2018, I earned my Pain Free Performance Specialist certification. A certification founded by Dr. John Rusin, internationally recognized and one of the leading experts in the fitness and sports performance industry. Through my experience training over 100 clients and earning my Pain-Free Performance Specialist certification, I gained the knowledge and confidence to ensure that no matter what condition, illness, or limitation you believe is holding you back, I have the tools to adapt and build a training plan for any individual!
My favorite client story
I have many, but my favorite is having a client approach me about training and wanting to do a physique show. She was starting as a beginner and had no prior experience training. Over the course of 2 years I helped her learn and train to do a show. The actual process of watching a beginner buy into a program and learn and adapt for 2 years, to then do her first show was awesome!
My favorite exercise
Any rowing movement! I love training my back
My favorite quote
I honestly don't think I have a favorite quote. I do however try to live by the fact that life is a blessing and to enjoy every minute we have.
My training philosophy
Train hard but train smart! I like to take a well balanced approach to training and life in general. I want to be able to function as I get older but still enjoy life. I'm not going to tell you you have to eat chicken and rice every day. That is BORING! I want to teach my clients how to train but also how to build a relationship with food that doesn't make them feel guilty for eating the foods they enjoy.
