About Eberly
Your body is perfectly designed to move with ease and grace, through a full range of natural human movement. For generations now, we have become more and more removed from our natural biomechanics and it is evident in the rampant postural issues, chronic body pains, injuries and issues leading to (often unnecessary) surgery, and general low levels of health and vitality. I train movement in a way that is fun, challenging, and effective at improving movement patterns and alleviating discomfort and health issues. I work within the Functional Patterns framework, and strive to improve the health and longevity of my clients through proper human movement and inner and outer holistic health.
My training philosophy
As a trainer I believe my job is to balance giving you what you want and what you really need. Everyone has muscle imbalances and postural issues that may cause aches and pains or may not, but in the long run if such imbalances aren't addressed they will lead to discomfort at the very least. I'd be doing my clients a disservice if I didn't work to correct their posture and teach them to move more efficiently. That being said, it can be tedious and annoying work to undo deeply ingrained movement and postural patterns and a lot of people don't want that workout! So I try to find a balance of the workout you need to improve your health and the workout you want to feel good and have fun.
My training experience
I've been working in the fitness industry since 2009. I started out teaching ballet and dance cardio classes, transitioned into personal training, expanded into teaching bootcamp classes, began offering Thai Yoga Massage to complement the workouts my clients do, and in recent years really delved into Corrective Exercise, which is what I am most passionate about. These days I mostly adhere to the Functional Patterns movement system and see fantastic results for my clients. Movement and exercise can be so much more than just a thing you do because you know you're supposed to. It can truly heal the body when done intelligently and intentionally and that is what I want to help people achieve.

Eberly is the most knowledgeable, hard-working and compassionate trainer I’ve ever worked with. She is constantly studying about nutrition and the body, and is an expert in her field. I have several aches and pains and she’s able to seamlessly adjust our routine to still give me an intense work-out while avoiding injuring or re-injuring my body. I can’t recommend Eberly highly enough - she’s a gem in the big world of trainers!
I've worked with Eberly for over 5 years now. She's a fantastic trainer who knows just how much (and when) to push you to achieve the results you're looking for. I particularly like that doesn't need weights or equipment to make sure I get a strong workout (though she certainly does know how to use everything if you have access to it). Unlike others I've worked with, she also pays a lot of attention to physical balance and posture. If you can find time on her calendar, definitely make an appointment!
Eberly Carro is no ordinary trainer. She is a unique combination of physical therapist, strength conditioner and healer. She knows and understands the body while at the same time always looks to improve her craft. My posture and core strength are markedly improved. Eberly cares deeply about her clients and doesn't go for the quick fix. Her unparalleled use of strength, yoga and overall flexibility training is incomparable. As an aside - she is an incredibly decent person and I never feel like she is "watching the clock". She always wants to give 150%!
Eberly is a talented and accomplished trainer. She is not only licensed and experienced as a trainer, but also in other modalities including massage and yoga. Thus she incorporates your goals and your body’s needs into your program. She can create a tough workout, a reviving one if you’re exhausted or just got off a flight, or an active stretching session - or a personalized combination. She’s vigilant with regard to form and posture. She’s warm and kind. She’s always on time and always professional. In short, she’s the best, and I highly recommend her.
This was great , I really need to get my 60 year old body in better shape with more balance and strength. Fun and a really good work out but not punishingly so !!!
Kind, attentive and hard-core! Eberly continues to help me on my path to health and wellness. She guides me and challenges me to push myself and I have made huge strides thanks to her.
Love working with Eberly! She is very kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. She’s helped decrease my back, shoulder, and hip pain a ton.
I started working with Eberly to help recover from a back injury and to build back some strength and get me moving. She does a great job customizing a routine and explaining all the exercises to ensure you are doing it properly. I have really enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend Eberly to anyone!
