I'm a certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer. I love helping people to achieve their health and fitness goals. It is a great pleasure to see how positive they feel about themselves when they see the results. During my career, I have confirmed that the main predictor of success in a lifestyle change is the adoption of the right behaviors. That's why, in addition to creating and designing effective exercise programs, I support my clients in developing the proper habits and attitudes to help them feel and look better in the short and long term.
My favorite client story
Every client success story is exciting. Just the fact that everyone has to overcome their unique limiting factors makes them an inspiration. Seventy percent of my clients are women, and I've realized that once they find the internal motivation to adopt a new lifestyle, they are very committed, regardless of the many things they have to deal with daily. This is the case with Marcela. She is married, has three kids, and works in the family business. One month after giving birth to her second child, she contacted me looking to lose the extra pounds she gained during pregnancy and, simultaneously, to create a fit body. We know that the usual recipe is calorie reduction and a lot of cardio. Well, the thing is that Marcela, in the absence of a better word, hates the traditional cardio exercises. She doesn't like running or walking or biking, and the idea of being in a cardio machine or walking under the warm Floridian sun for more than five minutes isn't attractive. Besides, during breastfeeding, calorie reduction isn't indicated. After setting the right expectations regarding time and current limiting factors, I designed a personalized plan for her. After 12 weeks of mainly resistance training, Marcela went from 36% body fat to 26%, which was a fantastic achievement. The compliments from family, friends, and other gym members, reinforced her internal motivation. A year later, she was expecting a third child, and she trained until the same day of delivery. One month later, she was back to training. Regardless of the fantastic body transformation after every birth, what is essential in this story is that exercise and healthy nutrition habits are and will be part of her life. Not only that, but she is a role model for her children. The oldest (7 years old) joins us at least once a month, and the mother-son connection during the workouts is fantastic.
