Our definition of "True Strength"
True strength and wellness is being able to handle the body weight in various positions or activities. It's not about how much weight you can lift. It's about how strong you feel, and how efficient you're moving. Flexibility, strength, and technique determine your physical wellness. Inside the gym, and outside in your normal life.
My favorite client story
I have a lot of clients that have health issues or extra challenges. One of my clients is fighting with Fibro myalgia and Lyme' s disease. I just love seeing how strong she has become. Just looking at her, you would think she's 15 years younger than she actually is, and you would never be able to tell her inner struggles. The training we do improves her; confidence, flexibility, functional ability, and her overall energy/mood. She inspires me with her perseverance and desire to be strong! She proves that there is no excuse when you really put your mind to it. I live for the energy and positivity clients like her bring!
My favorite exercise
Anything with a plank variation. Everyone spend their time doing crunches to build abs. Ab's are made in the kitchen! Planks help build all around strength by training the "core", while supporting and protecting the back.
