Hi, my name is Andrew Laux! I have been training athletes and entrepreneurs for nearly 14 years. Before starting my own mobile training business I coached and managed a collegiate strength and conditioning program in Maryland and helped open and operate 4 boutique fitness studios in the Greater NY area.

I look at training as a craft, not just a service. Over the years I have combined my experiences as a competitive athlete, degrees in psychology and my love for art to build a unique experience for my clients. My goal is to show you that you have so much more potential than you think!
My personality is a mix of nuance and creative. I use all of the human senses to ensure that my coaching cues really translate to the client. I want the client to feel the movements with conficition and build confidence with their body.
Finally, I started training because I want to help people (nothing makes me feel more fulfilled). I do my best to be relatable, to listen and to do everything I can to help clients achieve their goals.
My favorite client story
In short, I had a young baseball athlete who was beat up by playing too much baseball (he could barely walk). In one year of training together this young man completely transformed his body. He regained total function. His aches and pains disappeared and he ended up getting an athletic scholarship to play baseball in Florida.

My training philosophy
I believe in training clients "outside the box." Before I work with anyone I provide a comprehensive evaluation so I can better understand their needs. Then, based upon the clients goals I create a custom program. Together we will work together to see what works or what doesn't work (but always keeping your goals in sight).

Andrew is one of the finest people I have ever worked with personally and professionally. As the parent of an athlete it is important to trust the trainer on wide variety of things. Andrew has not only helped my son as an athlete to reach the next level, but also as a mentor. He genuinely cares about his clients in a way I have never seen. He checks in constantly to see how they are doing, even going as far to attend events to see how the athlete performs and how he can help them. He does this without ever asking for anything other than dedication from the athlete. As a baseball player my son has many coaches, but none has connected with him the way Andrew has. My son was recently named an Under Armor Preseason All American and when asked how got there. He attributes it to Andrews help, determination and push to make him the best. We have recommended several other athletes to him and they all feel the same. He is the model of what a professional should be. I can tell you that Andrew is not just about athletes as well. He has helped non athletes such as myself and my wife to live a healthier lifestyle and it has done wonders for us. I can say personally since my first days with Andrew I feel years younger and no longer crave the items that made me feel unhealthy to begin with. I have lost over 30lbs since Andrew began with me and have kept it off. He addresses not only the physical portion of who you are but the more important mental aspect as well. This man is a gem!

Before I met Andrew I had little to no confidence with my back. I had multiple back injuries, have been paralyzed in Central Park and stopped engaging in my favorite activities. Andrew re-introduced myself with my body. He explained why and how we were going to build my core and re-taught me how to move to stop loading my spine. I couldn't imagine stop training with him. He has given me my life back, now I am back on the soccer field, tennis court and even washing dishes.
When I first started working with Andrew I could barely balance on one foot, frequently twisted my ankle and had constant migraines. Andrew taught me how to fix my problem areas, he didn’t just bark at me and tell me “one more rep.” He really has been a game changer for me and my active lifestyle.
Andrew is awesome! We have been training for nearly 5 years! Gosh, when I first met him I had the worst posture. I would cross my arms, roll my shoulders forward and allow my head to tilt down. I had gone to physical therapy multiple times for neck injuries, and I just always had bad headaches. With Andrew, we worked on the basics to get my body in the proper position. Now my headaches are gone and I have gained the confidence to use my body and not hurt it.
Andrew is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I have been dealing with back issues most of my life. I had a desk job most of my career and between the commute and a 9 hour work day in a chair my posture has really changed for the worst. Andrews attention to detail allowed me to better understand why I was hurting my back and we focused on training and building up my core and back muscles while learning how to sit, stand, walk and squat properly.
