I'm so glad I spent the time with you to learn proper form, breathing etc - I've made kettlebell swings and clean/presses a key part of my workouts, which I can't imagine doing safely and properly without your instruction on hip and back position. I'm hitting my local gym 3-4x/week and seeing great results. I just wanted to let you know that all your hard work, lining my core up with that bar on every other exercise, really got me what I needed! I'm glad I chose to work with you as a trainer.
Working with Howard has been great! His workouts are always changing and they are never boring. I can see all the positive changes in my body and people say I have never looked better! I owe it to Howard!
Howard has been my personal trainer for the past 3 yrs. He was recommended by a colleague. I came to him as an unfit, tired and inactive mid-30's businessman. Howard helped me set my goals, stick to them and hit them. He is very professional and has a great personality. I look forward to our sessions because he keeps them challenging but fun and varied. If you really want to get back into shape Howard is your guy. In fact just yesterday I hit one of my goals by winning a medal in a 5k. I've had two co-workers start with Howard recently and they are also enjoying the sessions and results.
I highly recommend Howard Hinds! I first had the pleasure of working with him as my personal trainer and fitness coach in 2012. I could not have been more pleased with my experience or results. Not only was he a consummate professional, but he was very much attuned to my fitness goals and tailored a program to get me in the best shape of my life. Even after I moved away, Howard kept in touch, checking in on my progress and motivating me to keep working hard. After working with Howard, I was inspired to continue on with my own fitness journey and have since become a trainer myself. He sparked in me a passion for working out and desire to always strive for physical excellence. I can't thank him enough! You won't be disappointed if you choose him!
I have been training with Howard for a little over a year. I have had other trainers before and Howard is my favorite. He always brings a positive energy and mentality to the gym. Many trainers get bogged down in the same routine. Howard is creative and comes up with new exercises to keep me challenged and engaged. He genuinely cares about his clients progress and isn't simply in the game for the money. He is flexible with his schedule and accommodates where possible. Highly recommended.
I have been training with Howard Hinds for 4 years or so and only have amazing things to say about his training methods, skills but also personality. I look forward to my training sessions every week and even after only two weeks in can I start to see a change in my body, strength and energy. Howard is a fantastic listener. Addressing the areas I want to change but he is also extremely sensitive to my injuries in knee and neck; adjusting the session to ensure I do not hurt myself. This is something I value a lot as I constantly hear about people whose trainers cause them further injury vs. supporting and working around one. The individual sessions are structured to work on key focus areas but also ensure time for stretching and and appropriate warm up. I will say that I do leave feeling like I had a tough workout and am usually pretty sore over the next two- three days post session, which is a good thing, right! Not only is Howard a wonderful trainer but I also consider him a friend now. His positive attitude, great listening skills and just over all nice guy attitude make my training experience such a good one!!
After just one session of assessing my fitness level, areas of weakness and having an honest conversation about commitment, I'm super excited to begin working with Howard on a regular basis. It's been about 6-7 months since I've exercised and I was pretty nervous about how far I'd fallen behind. Howard went through important basics for me, asked what my goals were, and took me through some pretty easy steps to get started. During the repetitions at the end of the workout when I thought I was going to fall over, Howard was really positive and motivating. I'm looking forward to training with Howard on a regular basis and have already signed up for three more sessions!
