About Isabella
My personal fitness philosophy focuses on: finding joy through movement, feeling energetic, eating whole, delicious foods, and- most importantly- feeling confident and happy in the beautiful bodies we have been given! I am passionate about helping others build strength and increase their overall health. I believe a strong body originates from a strong core. I provide my clients with a unique blend of weightlifting and Pilates to build a strong, healthy body. I grew up with a heavy dance schedule, and I was never able to build muscle. I found strength training in college, and have loved the effects it has had on my body and performance. I have since received my NASM personal trainer certification, and my mat Pilates mat certification through Core Pilates NYC. I also teach at Xtend Barre in Brooklyn Heights. I have ample experience with pregnant moms and new moms, and working with diastasis recti (abdominal separation). I have since fused this love for dance and strength training through a personal practice of Pilates, weightlifting, and cardio. I'm a huge anatomy geek, and love to educate clients on exactly what muscles they are using, and how to utilize our incredible bodies more efficiently. Let's turn on a fun playlist, and get to work!
