My favorite client story

One of my clients started around 225 lbs. and she was on her way to take blood pressure and cholesterol medication. We started off slow and worked our way up. We reviewed what she ate throughout the week and adjusted some patterns as well as her water intake. We worked out twice a week and she came into the gym on her own to continue her momentum. Year one she lost about 50 lbs. She was around 165 lbs. and her goal was to reach 145 lbs. We continued to train during her second year and that year we focused on picking up our level to the next level. We were training 3 times a week and at times we struggled. She hit some plateaus and at times it was hard for the both of us. I had to really dig deep and find out how to get her to hit her goal. I eventually found out what we needed to do and it worked. That second year she lost 25 lbs. which totaled out around 75 lbs. she lost all together. We were so excited and she was overwhelm with joy. My favorite exercise

Split squat with a neutral grip overhead press using tube resistance bands. I chose this exercise because it targets your shoulders, triceps, quads, hamstrings, glutes and core. So this move hits up your upper body, lower body and midsection helping burn more calories toning your muscles. One of the best combination exercises that melts fat right off giving your muscles definition and increasing your strength.

I've been training for over 9 years with 25 years of martial arts and over 16 years of dance experience. With my experience and patients I can help anyone achieve the goals they desire. I take my training really serious, from giving my clients a proper warm up, designing a program that fits their limitations and making sure they go through a recovery phrase with stretches that will help their mobility and flexibility.

D'Artagnan "Danny" Cortes is the best at what he does --everything to bring you to your personal highest level of health and fitness. I have hypothyroidism and was completely frustrated with trying to lose weight, and resigned to the fact that it was impossible because of my thyroid disease. I had worked out on my own and with other trainers, but I just didn't get results to be excited about. As soon as I met with Danny, he made me try things that I would never consider doing -- like jumping over a bench! He knows what is possible for you as his trainee soon after meeting with you and asking a few questions about goals and lifestyle. He then gets to work finding out the exact types of exercises to incorporate into his training that will work for you.
