About Kimberly

Hi, I'm Kimberly. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength Coach and RYT-200 Yoga Instructor. Over the past twelve years I have helped hundreds of people improve their quality of life by building muscle, losing weight, and becoming more functional movers.

I have experience working with people of all ages and fitness levels although, I specialize in helping women over thirty get lean, fit and fall back in love with their bodies and exercise routines. Weather you want to lose weight, build muscle mass and strength, or prepare for a special upcoming event, I will be able to create a personalized science based exercise, nutrition and lifestyle program that will get you to your goals. As a coach and athlete with chronic health issues, I am experienced with and empathetic towards beginners and clients who are trying to build a movement practice while managing chronic health issues or recovering from a post-rehab injury.

When I am not helping my clients fall in love with moving their bodies or at the gym hitting PRs like deadlifting over 300lbs, perfecting my handstand or hitting consective pull-ups, I like to go for hikes with my husband and our three year old Husky, Wilhelmina.

My favorite client story

I have too many favorite client stories to share but I am passionate about seeing my clients hit new personal records that they never thought were possible. I have female clients in their 40s who got their first pull-ups, clients in their 50s who got their first full push-ups and clients in their 30s who are lifting more than their own bodyweight! The sky is the limit and it is exciting to watch my clients feel strong and empowered when they acquire a new movement skill.

My favorite exercise

Deadlifts, Handstands, Pull-ups

My favorite quote

“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” - Carl Bard

My training philosophy

My training philosophy reinforces the idea that building a sustainable and lifelong movement practice doesn't have to daunting and when done properly, it can actually be invigorating and vastly improve your quality of life. No more forcing yourself to adopt someone else's routines or habits! You can build a routine that works for you and gets you feeling excited to move your body. No guilt, no shame, just results!

My training experience

I have been training clients in various types of exercise and sports for over twelve years. My experience includes kickboxing, yoga, mat pilates, strength and conditioning, hypertrophy/muscle building, senior citizen focused group exercise classes, weight loss and weight management and more!
