About Kimberly
Hi, I'm Kimberly. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength Coach and RYT-200 Yoga Instructor. Over the past twelve years I have helped hundreds of people improve their quality of life by building muscle, losing weight, and becoming more functional movers.
I have experience working with people of all ages and fitness levels although, I specialize in helping women over thirty get lean, fit and fall back in love with their bodies and exercise routines. Weather you want to lose weight, build muscle mass and strength, or prepare for a special upcoming event, I will be able to create a personalized exercise program and implement dietary and lifestyle protocols that will get you to your goals. Using the most up-to-date research from behavioural and exercise sciences, I help my clients build sustainable protocols that turn into a lifelong practices.
When I am not helping my clients fall in love with moving their bodies or at the gym hitting personal records like deadlifting over 300lbs, perfecting my handstand or achieving consective pull-ups, I like to go for hikes with my husband and our three year old Husky, Wilhelmina.

I have too many favorite client stories to share here but I am passionate about seeing my clients hit new personal records that they never thought were possible. I have female clients in their 40s who achieved their first pull-ups, clients in their 50s who achieved their first full push-ups and clients in their 30s who are lifting more than their own bodyweight! I am my client's biggest fan and love to watch them feel empowered to hit new highs!!

I have been training clients in various types of exercise and sports for over twelve years. My experience includes kickboxing, yoga, mat Pilates, strength and conditioning, hypertrophy/muscle building, senior citizen focused group exercise classes, weight loss and weight management, postpartum, post-rehab, and more.

I was in such a hopeless place with my weight two years ago when I started working with Kim. After I turned 36, I ballooned from 120-130 to 180 pounds (it felt like overnight). I was walking, doing the elliptical + light yoga. I thought I was eating right. I couldn’t fit into any of my clothes anymore, and knew something had to change. Then along came Kim! She took the time to understand me, my goals, and what I was initially capable of (and continued to build on that as I got stronger over time). She continuously builds individualized fitness plans for me to follow, helping and motivating me to identify where I need to focus to achieve my weight loss and mobility/strength goals. While a trainer can prescribe a continuing program of exercises to achieve certain goals, Kim keeps me focused on the benefits of my goals, my progress, and incrementally adjusting my program to continually challenge me. Kim’s attention to details is second to none. It’s challenging to make sure the trainees are engaging the right muscles in virtual training, but Kim’s made it so effortless - sometimes I even forget we’re not training in person. After training with her for 2+ years, I’ve noticed significant and sustaining improvement in my strength, mobility, and most surprisingly, my reflex! I have not dropped any cups and glasses for a long time!
